7Beautiful white sand beach, the sea is very pleasant. The place is also good for watching the sunset.
Pro tip: go to North Lido on a weeknight, and there will be almost no one around! I’ve been doing this for years. I get my beach time in on the weeknights. These photos were taken at N Lido on a Monday at 6pm.
Beach is great. Good food and bar area. Live music and excellent to walk and people watch.

Lido Beach is one of the best beaches in Sarasota. The soft quartz sand and amazing sunsets are magnificent. A pristine beach and seashore that offers a relaxing vibe and calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico
The navigation is a little inaccurate
may need to park a little further away, hard to find a spot in town center
Less crowded in Feb and can find some good shells
Locals here and our favorite beach to run to when we need a quick dose of sand, sun and relaxation. Parking is tricky but attainable most times of the year. Walk out from the car with all your gear can be a bit taxing but it’s worth it! Don’t miss the sunset here!
