Life Care Center of Winter Haven

Life Care of Winter Haven has seen both my parents for therapy. Working on the field these are some of the best therapist. Special shout out to Amy ST who has gone above and beyond for my mom. Thank you!

My dad is a resident at Lifecare. The staff gives him great care. Some of the CNA's are personal and loving with dad. My sister and I are grateful for the care Dan and his staff give.
It gives us great peace knowing our dad is being taken care of. The Administration staff are informative, listen, and act upon any concerns we have.
The picture was taken as we celebrated dad's 80th birthday.

This is a faith based facility and the staff is very engaged with the residents, their care and their families. Lovely facility!

A family friend recently had the unfortunate need to utilize this facility post hip replacement and to say that their staff is uncaring and unprofessional would be an understatement.

This family friend was there for a week and a half without so much as a sponge bath and expected to lay in urine for 2 hours. Her roommate could not get out of bed quickly enough and had a BM and the nurse came into the room and screamed at her “why didn’t you get up”. I understand that the recruitment here is to just get bodies not actual “care” givers, but if you have anyone staying with this center you better be there daily to advocate for humane treatment.

Our neighbor had her mother there and took her out after a week because of such horrible care. Don’t be fooled by the beauty of the building. Beautiful things are often ugly on the inside.

It is a travesty that care this expensive is so lacking in professional staff practices.

The best nursing home/ rehab facility I have ever seen. It is a beautiful place. Very clean. Very peaceful.

This facility needs more experienced CNA's that are a bit more compassionate w their patients! Many here do not smile or have nice things to say to their patients! The meds nurse's are fine but much is to be desired w the CNA's! Please look into this.

Very nice place. Ms. Jo in the business office was very friendly, helpful and patient with me when I needed to get paid for Christmas shopping for my sister. The staff in the dining room is very friendly and helpful also. Very good people behind the scenes!

Great staff, clean facility. Beautiful inside and out.

The atmosphere is conducive to healing for those that I have seen there.

Again the nurses are outstanding, informative and top knotch.

I visit this place today for the first time, very good staff, met Jose from admissions, so professional and detail oriented, Awesome person, I really loved this place, looking forward to bringing my mother to this place in the near future, if God’s Will!

Just want to say that the Lockwood family is Very Happy with the care our mother has been getting at Life Care the past 9 months. The staff is very informative, personable, always pleasant, sure like everywhere there can be a quirk. But OVERALL very happy with the staff and facility. A BIG THANK YOU to the Life Care staff!

I serve with the Ministry to the Sick from
st Joseph’s Catholic Church. It’s always a pleasure to come to your facility, as the residents seem happy, the place is clean overall including their rooms. And I like the safety process of signing in so you know who is in the building. Excellent!

A group from our church went to Life Care to make a Thanksgiving craft with some of the residents. The facility and activities staff was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed spending time with the residents. As a retired nurse who worked in long term care for over thirty five years, I was very impressed with Life Care.

This is the best care center in the state. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The family member who is a resident there is very well taken care of in a very personal manner.

We have seen many nursing homes and Life Care is by far one of the best! Very clean and the staff is very friendly

Wish your check in software would still remember your information by the phone number instead of having to fill out everything every-time you come to visit.

Very attractive and clean grounds and building. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Although they were all so busy, each one gave the impression that you were the most important person at that moment.
