Very welcoming when I came in to make a payment verse the old manager that was in the building very rude and nasty to customers. Misha & chris were very nice and willing to answer any questions and concerns I had very pleasant workers

Copied from the letter required to terminate my Rental Agreement (this is just five days after I rented a storage unit) :
Per the terms of the Rental Agreement, I am notifying Store Manager Brittney Watt in writing that I will be vacating Space #6929 on April 9,2022. I will remove the lock and leave the unit in "broom-swept" condition, after which I will take a video as proof.
I will also be bringing in the unopened lock that was placed in the storage unit for a refund of $15.72 ($14.69 for the lock + $1.03 tax). Also per the terms of the Rental Agreement, rule No. 8 states that "Customer shall supply its own lock", so I was unaware that I would be charged for a lock based on the terms of your own contract. There was no mention of this charge anywhere until after I was already charged for it. The email I received on 3/31 @ 11: 46am states that my move-in costs totaled $23.96: Rent $7.50, Admin Fee $15.00, & Taxes $1.46. That is the amount I agreed to pay - I did not agree to a charge of $39.68. If necessary I will dispute this charge with my credit card company - this is called "bait and switch" and it is considered fraud.
I did not appreciate your rude and condescending tone during our phone call on April 4th. Apparently I really annoyed you by leaving a message on Sunday, April 3rd when you were closed. You were also very irritated with me for not knowing where the office was located. After reading all of the negative Yelp reviews about you I understand now that you speak to everyone like this, so I'm not taking it personally. Some people are just miserable human beings and I don't let those people affect me.
There are storage units literally all over PB County - go anywhere but here!
Update: Yanley Crowley told me I could return the lock to any Life Storage for a refund. She also told the BBB that they would issue me a refund. I returned the UNOPENED lock to Nina on 4/09 - as of 4/26 I still haven’t received a refund and they are not responding to my emails. They are the worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
