If I could give this practice 10 stars I would! Every single doctor & nurse we have seen has been amazingly kind to me and my boy.
Questions asked through the portal are answered in a matter of a few hours & very thorough.
Dr. Shepard is fantastic & while I haven’t met Dr. Vedder personally he took the time on a Sunday morning at 7AM! To explain to me what I can do about my sons condition. These people go above & beyond.
I also have nothing negative to say about office staff. They have always been polite & even squeezed me in when I had to reschedule an appointment.

The front office is rude and unprofessional! They choose who they want as patients. My son had a horrible experience when he got his 3 vaccines. They had no patience. Held him down and gave them all to him. After that they rushed us out of the office because they were closing. My son was still crying too. Will not recommend this office to anyone! The lady upfront with the bald head is the absolute worst! If you don’t like your job then switch!

Incredible practice full of incredible people. I literally cried of joy after leaving the first visit because we were all so well taken care of. So thankful for them.

My wife called from NICU with our FIRST newborn child. Serena, the head nurse was rude, wouldn’t help her and didn’t care that she needed an apt to get discharged from the NICU. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I will make sure all the other parents know it too.

Overall, I’ve had a very mixed feelings about this office. It all started when we met with Dr. Dudley, before my son was even born, but a year later after being established, she retired. She knew when she met with us about her plan, and she decided not tell us. I did not like that. I have also overheard conversations from the front office which made me feel uncomfortable. One time they thought they had hung up the phone with me, and obviously they didn’t because they said things and I heard them.

Dr. V has been one of the few positive experiences of this office. I’m not sure if I’m going to be looking for a new pediatrician or not, all I can say, is the last two times that my son has been sick, they have had no appts available on the same day. Today I called, and unsurprisingly, no one answered.

Such a great practice! We currently see and love Dr. Vedder, but we’ve had a great experience with every provider we’ve seen. Each time my kids have been sick, we have been seen same day, even if we’ve called in the afternoon. We feel so fortunate to be patients here.

Most of the 1 star ratings are from people who never even stepped foot in the office. Absurd to hurt a business because they weren't able to take on your child as a new patient.

My family loves Lighthouse Pediatrics. Dr. Vedder is our pediatrician and he's extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind and caring genuinely. The best part is if our baby is sick an opening is made for her to be seen immediately. There is always someone on call to provide help which brings peace of mind.

I really can’t say enough about Dr. Vedder and his care for all of my children. Especially for my
son, as he was very sick this year and he went above and beyond to ensure he was well taken care of. Many thanks Dr. Vedder! You are one of a kind. May God richly bless you!
