Lil Dog Bar, New Smyrna Beach FL

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Flagler Avenue is a quiet patio with tables and chairs, umbrellas, and fans on hot days. This patio is shared by a few restaurants. We visited Lil Dog Bar on Monday because this New Yorker was in the mood for a good hot dog. Lil Dog Bar did not disappoint. I had a dog with brown mustard and relish. My husband had the Johnny, topped with beef chili, chopped onions, and brown mustard and he thought he was really good. There are also retail stores surrounding the patio so you can do a bit of window shopping while you eat.

Tidy and aesthetically pleasing inside, authentic Thai powder in my matcha latte with tapioca boba! Friendly and efficient service. I love this place. Also not expensive so major plus!

I am absolutely blown away by my experience at Lil Dog Hotdogs! From the moment I stepped foot into this charming little hot dog joint, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a cheerful staff and decor that instantly puts a smile on your face!

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the hot dogs. The quality of the ingredients is all made to order and top-notch, it truly shines through in every bite! Can’t wait to come back.

We did not eat it this restaurant. However, while we were down there walking around enjoying the beautiful day today there was a rooster named Rocky. The rooster walking around and a girl came out of this restaurant and was spraying the rooster in the face with some kind of liquid out of a bottle. I asked her to please stop because the rooster was not doing anything to her or the restaurant. He was simply walking around. Everybody was enjoying Rocky the rooster and taking pictures. She is the only one that had an issue with it and there was no need for her to come out of this restaurant and spray that rooster in the face. Whether it was water or whatever it was unnecessary and it was cruel! This restaurant will never get any of my business. The roosters are part of New Smyrna and the people who come down there love to see them. And when I ask her to please stop. She got very loud and very rude with me for no reason. I simply ask her to stop spraying the rooster he was not bothering her. You need to be more cautious about who you hire to represent your business!

I'm not much of a hot dog person, but these were great! Cooked perfectly and had a great flavor! The toppings were fresh and delicious! And the girls working were both very nice!

We came here at lunch and I got the jack’d which is something out my normal and of course a chili dog aka the Johnny it was phenomenal.
Sam and Jessica was amazing talking with us about the dogs and didn’t waste no time greeting us it honestly made my day that much better.

Super clean restaurant/bar with very attentive wait staff and chef. Great selection of beer, wine, and lots of hot dog combo specials. Hot dogs came out quick and all 4 that we ordered were delicious!

A great spot to get the perfect hot dog (my favorite is "The Liv, " - with cream cheese and Everything Bagel spices)! Bring your friends and chill either inside, or in the courtyard. Their fruit teas are yummy and refreshing! Just tried their Philly Cheesesteak in a hot dog bun. Delicious! See photo.

I arrived 20 minutes before closing for a take out. To my disappointment they were closed.

Such a cute place! As someone who loves hotdogs and beer, I obviously LOVE lil dog bar. They have so many different hot dog options to choose from and really good low intervention wines which I really appreciate. Overall great place to stop in for some food/drink, super attentive staff as well. Get the Lolo!

A hidden gem! Strolling down Flagler Ave we walked back in this relaxing courtyard to find Lil Dog Bar. Gourmet hot dogs with unique and original toppings. An amazing selection of craft beer on draft. The wine selection was impressive as well. We had the Jack'd hot dog with a Florida draft beer and a glass of Rose`. The outside seating is relaxing and quaint and the indoor seating would be great for a rainy day. The prices were OUTSTANDING! A must stop to relax while walking and shopping on Flagler Ave.

If you like hotdogs (or even if they might not be your favorite) you should check out Lil Dog Bar. They have mini hotdog flights, gourmet toppings, and soon hotdogs and waffles. Think chicken and waffles. You get the idea.

The location is in a cute little courtyard so you can eat inside or outside. They have a great selection of beer and wine too.

WOW! As 20-year residents of NSB we were THRILLED to come across this little gem of a spot while walking down Flagler Ave! Tucked into the back left corner of “The Shops at the Colony” courtyard is the absolutely charming “lil dog bar”- a hot dog/beer/wine/flavored tea bar. Inside atmosphere is captivating, outside courtyard is inviting and the hot dog creations were yummy- all at a very attractive price point!

Do yourself and your family and friends a favor and stop it to try out this new place - you won’t be disappointed!

Love the atmosphere. Best hot dog I’ve eaten since I’ve moved down from the big city. I tried The Liv - but there are so many tasty-sounding combinations and wines to sip while you snack. I’ll definitely be back!

Bought take out bread pudding on recommendation of another shop owner - amazingly good. And I usually don't even like bread pudding! Impressed with the dessert!

If I could give ZERO stars I would! It was the absolute worst hotdog I've ever eaten! There was no flavor the Dog itself was like mush. The toppings cost extra. Just an all around bad experience! I like flavor in my hotdogs and this one had NONE! It's no wonder they have to serve alcohol you need it if you're eating there! Do yourself a favor save your money and go elsewhere.
