The front desk and assistant are also very professional and friendly.

No call back from referrals department. Communication in healthcare is key-

Refuse to see suffering military spouse without a referral. Doctor could bend this policy if she were able to use a common sense approach to medicine and have a little compassion.

Not everyone needs to wait a month and pay for a primary care physician visit to receive another referral for an obvious condition that needs a rheumatologist.

Again, we appreciate the concern shown by this office (sarcasm).

I unfortunately frequent Drs offices. I’m a medical mystery. When I walked into dr Lopez’s office the first thing I noticed was how clean it is & the soothing music playing. I know most people don’t care about that! I happen to. The receptionist Was very polite unlike most drs office’s. My first visit with dr. Lopez went very well. She actually takes time with you & I felt as she truly cares for her patients. She noticed something about me that I’ve had for over 20+years. Not one doctor has ever noticed nor addressed this issue which isn’t even in her field. Dr. Lopez is a thorough Doctor & extremely intelligent. I highly recommend her.she also dresses very nice and is very beautiful! If a woman can’t complement another woman that’s a insecurity! Also her nurse is so sweet and caring as well.

Update- Im not sure what is happening at Dr Lopez-Lopez office these days. I’ve been waiting 2 months or more to see her.
I’ve called no return call. My physician sent a referral with everything she asked for.

Bad bedside manner. Not empathetic, rushed, doesn't validate your concerns, doesn't like those that advocate for themselves, and her response is to refer out. I am used to the best rheumatologists at Duke Hospital in NC who actually know how to treat patients, who are thorough, and knowledgable. Definitely do not recommend Dr. Lopez at all.

All of the office staff are excellent! Very professiona, mannerly, and efficient. Doctor Lopez is great. Sometimes she's in too big of a hurry. I feel a little rushed with my visit. The new IV nurse is not as kind as the other nurse was. She leaves you set while she waits on other people.

UPDATE: Dr. Lopez thinks I should thank her for referring me to another type of specialist. Had she actually reviewed my chart as closely as she is claiming, she would have seen that I have seen an allergist for most of my life and they have all determined that my hives are not an allergy, but an autoimmune response. It was an allergist who referred me to my original rheumatologist. She also would have seen that I have a highly elevated ANA and tested positive for an autoimmune condition. Do yourself a favor and seek treatment from a doctor who is actually thorough rather than one who just claims to be!

At the age of 8 I started breaking out in inexplicable hives that resulted in severe swelling in my hands and feet accompanied by rash and severe itching. The doctors had no idea what was causing the problem and instead chose to treat the symptoms. It wasn't until my late 20s when I finally got a diagnosis of a rare autoimmune condition. I was successfully treated for it for 20 years by various rheumatologists over the years. I sought out Dr. Lopez Lopez when my previous doctor moved away. She met with me once, told me that she had never heard of my condition, and it didn't exist so I didn't need to see her again. Rather than research my condition and educate herself about the rare condition that has plagued me my entire life, she decided to discount its existence altogether. I will NEVER recommend her to any patient in need of rheumatological care. She didn't order a single blood test or even review the very lengthy reports of previous blood work before deciding that my condition is made up.

The office staff is very nice. I am so greatful that I found Dr. Lopez she has been amazing. She listened to my concerns and was very thorough, not quick to do medicine until she new exactly what we were treating. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Lopez is a very special doctor. She is friendly, she is attentive, she listens to you and she is very observant. My first date was like we already knew each other. Very professional. Excellent doctor. Thank you Dr. Lopez.

Dr Lopez-Lopez figured out almost immediately what other doctors have overlooked or passed off as fibromyalgia. I feel that she cares about me as a person as well as a patient.

I’ve been helping a relative. I make the calls and take him to the doctor’s office. Staff is rude. The only guy at the front desk and phone is not friendly or corteous. The office manager is horrible.

The doctor certainly has a conflicting schedule like some people has mentioned before. It looks like this isn’t a new issue with this office and I wished I read about it sooner. The office staff will often cancel my relative’s appointment due to the doctor’s conflicting schedule and they will reschedule without his consent. Since I am the one receiving the calls, this is unprofessional, upsetting and unsettling I have to call and cancel the day that they chose to reschedule and then they will blame the patient for canceling a date he didn’t choose.
