We had the worst experience imaginable at this swimming school. My son just turned four when he started classes here. The teacher was so “harsh” (they pride themself of being harsh in their method) that my kid has now a real trauma with being underwater. First class was normal, second class the teacher started pushing him underwater more than 20 times, without letting him know, without letting him speak or even take a break. I should have stopped that class right a way but I just tried to give them a chance. After the class the teacher approached me, said that the problem was that he was to old (smaller kids can’t protest) and she never noticed his stress. He was pale as I have never seen him before, ended up having fever for two days and with an ear infection few days later because of this episode. Now it has been about six months and there is no way I can get him in the water. He spend 30 minutes with a negligent teacher and now it’s going to cost us a lot of time to overcome fear of being underwater.
They did give me my money back because I took my kid out of the program but they justified their method telling me that harshness is the only and fastest way to learn. I just want to warn you in case you are considering this swimming school that they really don’t treat kids as they deserve. No human being can learn and is comfortable being forced under water several times and then left alone to float and survive. Hope this can help someone no te make the same mistake I did
