5 Super cute clothes—subpar employees.

Upon entering the store an employee very unenthusiastically said “welcome“. About five minutes in looking at clothes I asked an employee if they had any jeans that she would recommend for tall women. Her response was was a very blunt and sharp “no“. I must have given her a displeased look because she then pointed at a couple of racks and went on her way.
I felt more like a nuisance than I did a customer. I’d rather shop online than be in store.
Went in not expecting to find anything this amazing. The employees were so sweet and willing to help. They were encouraging and wanted to know about my life. Their clothes were cute and reasonably priced. The employees were realistic in asking questions about where I would wear the clothes and how I would style them. They brought more options after getting to know me but not in a pushy trying to up-sell me way. Overall, amazing experience and I look forward to going back.
This is about my third or fourth time going into Lizard Thicket and each time I have a suppressed my feelings due to “being used to it”. I typically don’t leave reviews but being that my mom visited the store today and had a poor experience I felt it was best. I happened to go into the store yesterday and the clerk that was working, didn’t greet me at all but instead watched me like a hawk literally until I walked out of the store. It took everything in me to walk out without saying anything so I thought it was best to leave a review, and I will be sure to leave it on every single platform that I am on. I found it alarming that another black woman experienced the same treatment. At this point I’m going as far as contacting Wiregrass and their board because this is unacceptable. All money is green and thieves come in all shapes and sizes.if you don’t want everyone in your store close it.
Love shopping here. They get new clothes every week that us unique. Beautiful boutique with amazing staff. I like the fact that I can go somewhere nearby and find something to buy that is different from what all these other stores are selling.
