Awesome little place right on the water! Great general store/bait shop! Didn't try it but they have a diner there as well.

I stopped there to get some pictures on my last trip down. I went into the store and had a great talk with the owner. He was so nice to let me go onto the dock to get pictures. Very clean place. Thinking about staying here on our next trip down to Florida.

The people there are really nice but they discriminate I wanted to move there they would not rip me out of place because I was a white man

People who smoke shouldn't sit by people who don't. My husband and I have asthma. Hard for us to breath. You say anything they threaten you, But the place is so beautiful we love it there. People at the Eve
RV & store are awesome

This is a little piece of country heaven on Earth. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. Go sit on porch and enjoy the view!

Cool place. Nothing to do except fish and sip on beer but there's no place more beautiful to do it!

Enjoyed our stay here. No frills. But we did have a nice spot on the water. Sites are tight. That's pretty normal in Florida, but it would be nice to be able to open the main awning. Since our site didn't have sewer hookups, we used the bathhouse. It could use some updating, but it was relatively clean. The dump station was tough to get to with all the vehicles parked across from and around it. Probably not really the RV park's fault though. You can only police that so much. Plus, it's not well-marked so people probably didn't even know it was there. The park is close to the train tracks. If you're a light sleeper, the train is probably going to wake you up as it roars through blowing its horn at all hours of the night. Fortunately, we're not light sleepers. But I'm a night owl and was up late to hear it quite often.

Nestled privately from the main road. This is a quaint little fishing community of rv campers and cabins. With a General store and restaurant on site.

I stay here about five times a year, staff is always friendly, they always try to put me in a spot that we like, overall just a nice place to get away. Sunsets are awesome, great boat ramp. Decent food and cold beer, my kind of place.

Cabin was dated and the mattress caused a rough night’s sleep. I was afraid to sit in the upholstered chair as it looked like it had a rough life. The lake was pretty and I saw an alligator. Had to leave early due to Hurricane Dorian and Lori (the owner) discounted that they would even be impacted by it when we informed them we were leaving after staying one night out of five. They charged us for nights we didn’t stay, stating they had an early departure policy. No such policy is posted on the website nor in the room or given to us. We are working with them on a refund but beware of their policies before you book. They also charge a “no show” fee but were up front with that info.

Our second time there and loved it both times. Great people great staff and a very complete store especially for service parts for your boat. Very helpful last time I was there.

As beautiful as ever. Spent many a summer on this lazy lake. Just a reminiscent trip from childhood today, but I will be back. They have cabins for rent, boats from a motorless stump knocker up to a pontoon boat.

Nobody at the office and extremly rude people staying there. I could smell weed burning and people yelling obcenene language. Not a place for me to bring my wife and daughter to.

It's advertised as an "Old Florida" fish camp, and it is. Cabins, camp grounds, bait and tackle and diner - pretty much as it was in 1960. There are some upgrades, but remember the 1960's postcard scenes. If you've come to fish, it's got all U need. Now if the fish are biting, it doesn't matter about anything but lodging, boat ramp, bait, tackle, ice, cool drinks and a good cleaning station (over the water). But don't expect to buy marine fuel here or even nearby. Now when the bite is NOT ON, as can be the case occasionally, U may still witness the greatest sunsets that money can buy; and relax and realize that a poor day on the water still beats a good day at work. Oh, meant to tell U you about the serenade from the nearby train as it announces its approach to the camp track crossing off highway 301. And rely on your GPS because you come upon the turn without much warning.
