LockTight Impact Windows, Doors, & Roofing, Davie FL

LockTight created 9 leaks in my roof on the very first day of their installation, causing permanent water damage to my ceilings and floors. I had just renovated my house so the flooring was brand new- it was ruined by LockTight. Afterwards, LockTight refused to fix the damage they had caused and instead suggested I should drive myself to Home Depot and "get a gallon of paint. " They wanted me to paint over the ceiling damage instead of actually fixing it (which meant replacing it, as all the material had been water damaged). To add insult to injury, they then tried to bill me for a whopping 20% increase over their original quote. There were so many roofing companies to pick from, I deeply regret choosing LockTight.

The crew was fast, efficient, and provided good service. They came on time and ready to work. Would definitely recommend.

I interviewed a lot of companies and I decided to use Loctite. Their customer service was excellent I recommend them.

Great company the installation was made on time, they take care of all my furniture, the Quality of the doors and windows is great.

Terrible - Absolutely the WORST experience we've ever had dealing with a company. Hired them to install new windows and it took over 2 years to finish. I'm sure they have the standard "Covid" excuse, but this was pure incompetence/neglect. We had to constantly call them to get it finished and our calls were rarely returned. New windows sat at our house for months with no action, then when the installers they hired eventually showed up (they apparently hire 3rd party contractors to install), they took out the old windows, boarded them up with unsealed openings into the house and left. We waited to hear anything and finally had to call Locktight to find out what the issue was - they claimed they had measured incorrectly and we'd have to wait a few months for new windows to come in. The nail in the coffin was when they finally finished, they harassed us for the final payment. We heard more from them in the 1 week they wanted to get paid than we had in the 3 years during the actual project.

We also had a permit issue on a door someone else had installed and locktight said, to get that permit resolved they would need to remove the doors and gave us a quote. We had another company quote it- they did not need to remove the doors at all, they were much better priced than Locktight, and they got done in a flash. So there are definitely good window companies out there, Locktight just isn't one of them.

Just do not hire them…. Nightmare and very unprofessional. I regret everything about his company.

There are so many impact window and door companies to choose from. After getting a few quotes, the decision on which company to use was difficult, I am a widow and my husband always took care of the decisions when it came to major home repairs and renovations. The quotes I received varied in price. Although Lock Tight was not the lowest quote, I decided to use Lock Tight because of the wonderful customer service. I had so many questions and each time I called, I was treated with courtesy and compassion…I never felt pressured or felt I was being taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge…I was educated in the different grades of impact glass and frames, hence the variation in pricing. I realized that I had to match apples to apples. It took a few weeks longer than the estimated day of installation because of supply and demand, however, I was kept informed. The installation went very well…the installers were professional and courteous and I felt safe. After the installation, there were a few minor details that needed attention and when I called and spoke to Don he took care of it right away. He even went so far as to call and make sure I was pleased before he closed the repair ticket. I also spoke with Ken who made me feel valued as a customer. Eventually, I know I will need to replace my roof and the first company I will call for an estimate is Lock Tight because I know I will receive quality roofing materials, professional installation, and wonderful customer service!

The service was great and quick. However, they accidentally did not order one of my windows, and it took them almost another year to install it. They initially told me 4 months until it arrived, but they forgot to order again and it took them almost a year.

This company has called me approximately over 50 times in a harassing fashion!

About 3 weeks ago, a sales representative came to my door claiming that they were installing impact windows on a neighbors home (this turned out to be a dishonest marketing scheme- I later learned that no one in my neighborhood was having impact windows installed at the time) I was interested in getting an estimate since I have been planning to get impact windows, so I gave the representative my name and number -HUGE MISTAKE.

Before the representative left, I had agreed to an appointment at 10am for the following Monday morning. The appointment was set. Later that day, I began to get calls and texts to schedule an appointment for an estimate, and also some communication about the appointment I had already set (as if their wires are crossed somehow- they didn't know I already had an appointment and also knew that my appointment was set). I then cancelled my appointment via text due to this excessive communication and received confirmation it was cancelled.

Ever since then, I have received approximately 3-5 calls a day, along with numerous text messages and voice mails. I have blocked all numbers, and they keep calling me from new numbers.

Today, I got yet another call from "William". I called back and asked to be removed from their call list. I asked this politely. "William" responded by snapping at me in an extremely hostile tone "What call list? ! YOU called ME". I then told him he is very unprofessional and that I am clearly on a call list with their company because I am receiving excessive communication. I again asked to be removed from their call list and HE HUNG UP ON ME without confirming if I have been removed or not. A normal person would not have taken offense to my request, there is clearly something wrong over there.

Absolutely unprofessional. I will never do business with this company and will share this experience with homeowners in my area.

Not very professional as they are always trespassing & soliciting on private & non-private communities, clearly the residents don't really want the hassle of dealing with their bothersome knocks on their doors.

I have experience awesome customer service from the first point of contact, with the sales person David and the project manager Johanna. They both updated me with the status. A company that projects great customer service is the right company to hire for your roof replacement. LockTight roof company is that company.

I still have problems with my patio doors two years later. Though they come out to service it, there has been no real solution

I chose locktight to do my windows and doors project because they have been in business a very long time. I did not regret it. I would recommend locktight to do your project. Job professionally done. I liked the follow up from the various departments. Ken from QA will put you at ease during the initial chaotice stages. If you are thinking of bypassing permits and proper engineering, please don't.

This company carries a great product. LockTight replaced all my windows and doors with ESW, at nearly twice the price as local competition. They will not clean the windows after the installation. They did not give me a copy of my warranty info, contract, or permitting. They threatened to start litigation if I didn't sign the Certification of Completion for PACE financing before the final inspection. I would never recommend this company to anyone other than an enemy.

DONT WASTE your time with this company. Unprofessional, nobody knows what’s going on with the projects nor does anyone answer when you call! I have 2 contracts and it’s been 5 months and still not finished. I paid over 35k on both projects and no one is helpful. Mistakes over mistakes. Just waste of time and money.

This company was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process leading up to install. I am very pleased so far. Installing now so I will keep you all updated.

Please, do not hire this company.

After signing the contract, it will be a nightmare. Everything started great up until the first inspection. They didn't pass the TILE/SHINGLE/STANDING SEAM IN PROGRESS which was a major red flag to me because how come you're a roof company and you fail this inspection. After more than 7 days, no one has come to my house to fix this in order to schedule the next inspection. They keep saying that someone will come and nothing, my roof is still in progress. I hope this review save people time/money.

They will also offer to pay you up to $125 dollars in a gift card for posting 5 star reviews on five websites (Google, Angie, BBB, Home Advisor and Yelp) prior to the job being finished and properly inspected (which I refused to do right away). So be cautious of the reviews in those websites.

The list goes on and on and I'll be updating this review during this tortuous process. Maybe one day my roof will be completed.

I hired LockTight to replace old windows and patio doors with impact windows and doors. From the start (meeting with the sales person) until the installation the company representatives were very responsive and helpful. The city inspector indicated that the product is of amazing quality and installation is perfect. While it wasn't the lowest estimate, I am very happy that I decided to go with LockTight, the quality of the product is worth a few extra thousands.
