The staff were very professional and very awesome. The hotel was so prepared with hand sanitizers everywhere!
The elevators were somehow set for one set of couples or family members to use one at a time. And so impressed that everyone was wearing a mask. That included all staff and all guests!
Housekeepers were great with fulfilling requests for new towels, etc.

Thank you for a wonderful stay

One of the best hotels with the friendliest staff. We always felt safe and appreciated the accommodations around COVID. There were reminders everywhere, but nothing overbearing. Great job by all and Ray is is the best.

Staying at Universal resorts is the way to go. Express Pass perk, proximity to parks, transportation and overall service experience was great. Had a great dinner at Jake's and fun times poolside.

You just can’t beat the savings and overall experience at Loews Pacific Royal Resort in Orlando. It’s the closest hotel to the entrance of Islands of Adventure which we wanted since we were eager to ride the new ride in the wizarding world of harry potter. It is a beautiful 5 minute walk from the hotel and the path is just gorgeous to get there. We found the water taxi service to be very convenient to the main entrance of universal studios as well. Having express passes included with the stay was what really sold us and we were so glad to have them. We never waited more than 30-40 minutes for any attraction and really the only lengthy wait was for the Hogwarts Express due to covid restrictions. We also really enjoyed the convenience of linking our room key to a credit card so we could charge everything and not have to carry wallets around. Communication with the hotel was so easy too-just a text away for anything we needed and they were very prompt in responding. Our vacation to Universal was the least stressful we have ever done. From the moment we got off the plane we had very detailed instructions texted to us on where to find the free shuttle service that would take us to the hotel and we received our tickets to the park before we even left the airport. Universal CityWalk has everything you could need so we didn’t rent a car and it was so nice to not have the added stress of driving everywhere. The only negatives we found were that the pillows were a bit lumpy, the bathroom door in the room didn’t lock, and we could hear our neighbors very clearly when they showered or used the restroom. We even woke up in the night thinking we had left water running because it was so loud and clear. We also found that the water taxi was not helpful after the park closed because the lines were so long to get back to the hotel. We found it way faster to just walk home in the evenings unless we stayed out hours past park closing. However, those negatives were minor and we will absolutely stay again when we come back! Loews is doing all the right things when it comes to a stress free vacation to Universal Studios!

This is hotel does great job for a moderate price with the following highlights:
- 15 minute walk tor water taxi to parks/Citywalk
- Good food options on property
- Starbucks on property
- Unlimited express passes included
- Early entrance to Harry Potter included

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. This is our 3rd time here in the past 6 years.

Great place to stay for the Unlimited Express Pass! Room was not very clean though. Tile really needs steam cleaned. Black mold around the shower. Beds were comfortable which was a plus. Room is just a room, similar to a Holiday Inn. You are really paying for the convenience to the park, which is really nice if you are shopping and need to drop stuff off mid-day. Express pass is worth it wether you stay on property or pay the additional charge. At $400 a night we will stay off property and pay the additional next time for the express pass. We did early entry to the park one day and it was so crowded we didn't find it worth it. Had a better experience sleeping in and heading over around 11am when there was no line.

Royal Pacific is quiet, relaxing, and extremely clean. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast Smoked Salmon and toasted bagel was absolutely delicious. The POG juice (pineapple orange guava) is so amazing. You really feel like you are in a tropical paradise here. Cannot rave about it enough. The free express passes are also quite convenient due to crowds and wait times. Don't second guess your choice and stay here!

Perfect location to walk to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks. Rooms are a bit tight but what was important to us was the location and the all day express passes that proved to be very helpful during spring break.

It's fine.:/ The initial check in was nice. And our room was ready about two hours early. Masks are required at all times on property when not in your room or the pool (or while eating). That's the most annoying constant (fighting with a 4 yr old) but completely understandable. The majority of staff kindly reminds people to put their marks on all day. Water taxi to the city walk is nice. Items in the room were fine as far as quality. The beds were nice. There were 2 chairs that had clear wear and distress on them from whatever material was chosen for upholstery that just looked unappealing to me. Nice amount of prong and USB outlet sources throughout the room. The vent and air quality in the room was subpar than I'd anticipated and am accustomed. It was built up on the walls and my family felt it in our throats the next day. They are not sending room service due to the virus (understandable), so I didn't ask them to send anyone, plus it would've gotten extra dust all over our things. Pool is nice and spacious with lots of poolside lounge chairs. It has a kiddy area that gradually increases in depth like a shoreline vs walking into 3 or 4 ft from the stairs. Cute kiddy splash area. Multiple life guards were on duty every day. Everything was "fine, " but nothing was spectacular. They still use paper tickets and everything is like a wild goose chase and some of the systems didn't work when we wanted to use our food plan, so my husband paid $22.00 for 12 bigniets and, yeah.annoying more than anything, but fine. Even a lot of the staff (usually guest services-especially in the planning place in the lobby) were just negative or seemed inconvenienced by people who were vacationing (i.e. Me) and tryingto figure things out while literally just watching and sighing while observing without offering help of any kind, leaving this first time guest wondering how this whole process worked and just unhappy. Nothing on-site works with their meal plan and you have to go to the City Walk or inside an actual park to eat what's included. Plus, everything costs an asinine amount of money. For example $1 per pill for Tylenol in a 2-pack, $18 for spray on sunblock and $15 for a 12 Oz piña colada no souvenir cup. Mental. I wouldn't mind paying the exorbitant amounts of money, if it felt worth it. It doesn't for me. We were spoiled by Disney vacations and will not be doing Universal again with our children (MAYBE if they are teenagers, but I doubt it). All in all, it's fine, but I would've rather spent more money on fewer days at Disney. Now I know, though. It is fine and there is fun to be had. We still have one whole day before checking out and I'm sure I can predict how it will go.

Great hotel has gone downhill in the last year. The redesign of the lobby didn’t make it more modern, it made it look cheap. The temperature checks are just theatrics because there is nobody telling people to put mask on anywhere in the lobby. We’ve stayed over 20 times now and are over it.

Close proximity to City Walk/parks, and the Unlimited Express Pass makes it worth it to stay here. We had 2 adjoining rooms 2605 and 2603 in early March 2021.2603 bathroom stank w/made the room stink. Seemed to be coming from the shower and it stank for the duration of our stay. Also, the bathrooms do not have any type of ventilation fans, therefore it seems that every time you took a shower, the bathroom would be filled with condensation and the the shower curtains and shower doors (some bathrooms have curtains (2605) and some have doors (2603) did a poor job of keeping shower water from getting all over the floor. These rooms are kind of close to the elevator, so you can hear the "ding" of the elevator from inside the room (kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker). All of the employees were super nice and helpful during our stay, I wish I could give them a "shout out" by name. The "Tuk-Tuk" market is great for a quick snack/dining. We did not experience any of the other restaurant's in the hotel because City Walk is only a 10 minute (or less) walk from the hotel. The rooms and common area hallways seemed a little "beat up" and need of a update, but not so bad that it would keep me from staying here again. Overall a great stay, and I highly recommend, despite the shortcomings listed above.

Every member of the hotel staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the Universal parks. The hotel felt very clean and we always felt comfortable walking within the hotel. We always commented that the lobby "smelled so great! ". The signage was perfect in the hotel so we knew where to go from day one to get to the pool and to the water taxi to the parks. Our room was very clean and comfortable as well. I found the texting service to the hotel staff was SUPER helpful as well from asking for extra towels in our room to check out time.

Kids loved it. Due to no fault of Universal, COVID made lines very long, even with Express pass had to wait up to hour on some rides. However, really appreciated the fact that every person was provided hand sanitizer before getting on every single ride.

Thank you for a fantastic experience! The ease of being able to text requests to the front desk, day storage of luggage, and airport shuttling made our trip effortless!

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Pacific. I wish we would have stayed longer. Checking in early (8: 00am) the day we arrived was awesome. The express passes were a MUST! Make sure to get the park to park tickets if you plan to ride the Hogwarts Express and if you want to get a wand ($50), be sure to let the wand pick you. Wear your tennis shoes and DO NOT do the Popeye water ride unless you are ready to get soaked or have a change of clothes.
