A fabulous Brevard County resident camp ground and park! We have a site directly on the River with a beautiful breeze blowing us around!

I love this campground, but the costumer service is horrible. People that answer the phone are really rude.

Monday - Thursday I would rate the park a 5 star. Friday - Sunday I rate the park 2 star based on our stay. Friday and Saturday there were kids riding dirt bikes around, someone riding a 4 wheeler and this continued after dark. Campers beside us set up a big screen and projector between our front and their back of camper and had speakers and watched movies with sound loud enough we could hear it over our AC running and tv. The movies each night didn’t end until after 11: 30 each night. There was another group that partied until after 1. I love people having fun and I am all for kids riding dirt bikes etc. But there is a time and place. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the park.

Really nice campground overall but needs a lot of updating. The restrooms are VERY unhealthy. Speed bumps need to be installed to slow traffic before someone gets hurt, people totally ignore
The 10mph speed limit. Golf carts are also a nuisance. Update: Restrooms at the other side of the park are much nicer, raised to
4 stars.
Update: We just spent another weekend here and the speeding cars and golf carts has gotten worse. Adding to this, kids on E bikes racing around made this a very unenjoyable experience. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING! 2 stars

This is my local park so I try to go at least once a month. Right now they are working hard to make some long needed improvements, when complete it will be even better. Always polite people and very dog friendly. Great fishing and close to the ocean. Be sure to bring your own drinking water and bug spray in the summer. This is Florida as it used to be!

Altho it is beautiful here, the no see-ums are like a pack of flying skin murderers looking to devour everyone in their path lol Of course we know that anytime you're near that kind of water that they will be bad. They were bad enough to stay inside the entire time. They don't even respond to Deep Woods Off. Overall a nice overnight spot but not for actual camping.

The campground was really great! Faculties were clean, plenty of space and the people at the campground were great. My only issue was the bugs, mosquitos and noseums were really really bad even with a solid breeze all day. We will be back!

Always a great time at Long Point! The staff that gets you checked in for the day is wonderful. Once you check in, and start driving into the park you immediately feel like you're on vacation. Great water with many beautiful creatures to explore. We love "island hopping" with our kids via kayaks and paddle boards. Been going there for years, and have never had a problem with boaters going too fast. Everyone has been considerate in our experiences.

Where do I begin. Whether you're tent camping or RV camping this place will squeeze you in like sardians. I understand it's on the island and that is how it has to be. Just be prepared to be 5 feet from your neighbor's campsite.

What a great camping experience. An island campground, surrounded by water, of course. Many waterfront sites. Scout Island is accessible by a footbridge, fun to explore. Nearby beaches, gift shops, bait shops, etc. Quiet campground even when busy (during spring break).

Nice campground with water view at most sites. Use the website to make reservations because no one answers the phone.
Campsites are very sandy, be prepared with a broom lol.

Nice place to go camping. Many sites are right on the water with a path that you can launch your kayak from. Sites are large and pretty flat, easy to get level.

I’ve been in and out of here over the last month as I travel the country. Nice staff and an incredible location with much to do here and at nearby state park. Seems to be the most popular fishing place on earth!

No rooms or service here; just camping on the beautiful Indian River; we love leaving our kayaks on our private shore the entire time we're there. Clean public restrooms available as well as showers. Can camp in tent or motor home. Lots of wildlife, dolphins, manatees, etc. Bring bug spray for the no-see-ums. For real.

We booked our reservation on a whim taking the last available campsite for tents with water and electric hookups looking for a place on the east coast to try out some saltwater fishing close to Sebastian. The campground itself seemed over-crowded with sites stacked so tightly together making it so there was barely any room between you and your neighbors. Our site (spot #8) was in between two groups of people who knew each other (spots #7 + #9) which was unfortunate for us and really put a damper on our experience. All night we dealt with loud obnoxious music, talking, and yelling from both teenagers + adults who kept bright lights on till 1am and kept walking through our campsite to get around us. This really sucked for us making us feel uncomfortable, unable to relax due to the noise and feeling like we were in the way just by being in our own space. Despite the issues with other campers and losing sleep, the islands are quite beautiful. The back of our site had water access where we could fish through the opening in the mangroves and watch the dolphins swim by. The fishing pier and bridge to scout island provided us with easily accessible spots for fishing along with scout island’s beaches. We spent most of most of our time in the park at a secluded beach on scout island; fishing, swimming, checking out wildlife in the water, and picnicking with what we carried in. The water at scout island is gorgeous and felt like a dream to experience! I wish we could’ve camped there instead of at our crowded uncomfortable campsite. If we ever return we would probably bring an Rv/camper/van as the park seems better suited for them. The bathrooms and showers were decent; either brightly lit and filled with an array of bugs or dim and slimy but overall mostly clean. If you’re down to deal with dozens of raccoons trying to steal from you, tons of mosquitoes, and small camp sites obnoxious neighbors are probably the only issue you could experience here!

This is a great RV Park located right on the ocean. Very clean very reasonable. Ran by the county of Melbourne. Many sites do not have sewer connection but they have to dump stations that are very orderly setup bathrooms are immaculate with very strong showers.

Paddleboarding is my favorite here. We always find dolphins. This is our second year, and we love it here. There are no septic hookups on most sites, but community showers are clean and easily accessible.
