Longwood Park reviews
16This park is wonderful with the right combinations of nature, social, family, and sport activities all well organized and with convenient accommodations.
6 new pickle ball courts, so are shaded. Plenty of parking. Open play using a paddle rack. No segregation of player levels.
This is where I go to vote, and it's always worked very well for that. Otherwise, I haven't explored it very much.
Nice little park with tennis and pickleball courts and a sizable kid's playground area. The downside is the stench from the local water treatment place.
I am very thankful to the Sarasota County to provide the community with so amazing Summer Camping for our kids! Love you all! My son had a lot of fun! Great coordination and staff! Congrats
Great park for adults and kids. They have brand new outdoor Pickleball courts, tennis courts, outside play area for children and then they have the Rec building. There isn't an outdoor trail for walking or running and no dog park but it has everything else.
I recently enjoyed an outing at Longwood Park. Small family get together there’s a gym that you can rent for an event.there is A playground. Picnic area. Plenty of parking. Nice location.lots of trees.
2 playgrounds, with lots of play area. Nice basketball court. Gazebo with lots of tables under. Restroom not too far. Tennis courts. & a hall available to rent.
Awesome but isn't this where the new miracle league is located? If so, please see miracle league review
Very nice it has a smaller kid playground And one for bigger kids. And it has a cover over it.
Nice little park except for the inescapable sewer smell. Hopefully they can fix that with the improvements they're making.
Very nice playground with lots of shade but, unfortunately, it's downwind of something that always smells like rotten Brussels sprouts. I don't know if it's a dumpster or what, but it ruins the experience. Some days are worse than others.
Such an awesome park to take my little one! Very Clean Park! They have so much for the kids to do and play. Benches to sit on as well so you can watch your child or children. Love it!
We love taking the grand babies to this park. We have been coming here for years. The kids have a great time and the park is always so peaceful.
I was there for a baby shower, under one of the Pavillions. Even though there was a funeral reception, a kids baseball game, and a rather large birthday party next to us no one bothered each other and it was very friendly but also private. This was not my first time at this Park. I've been there many times. The parking lot is large, there's inside bathrooms and a large inside area as well, a big playground, and the tennis court and baseball field. Also, it's important to mention that Dogs ARE allowed which is great!
So much to do! They have two different playgrounds, a tennis court, a baseball field, multiple picnic tables with some being covered to fight off any rain. Bathrooms are open to the public and lots of open grass for the kids to run off all their energy!
