Los Dos Compadres, DeLand FL

I went here to eat with my mom and we had an amazing time. There where a little busy, took a little while for the drinks to get out but other than that there serves where fantastic and I recommend coming here definitely great for family's and to take someone out on a date. My mom and I enjoyed the food and drinks. The food came out faster than the drinks did so thats something that has never happened to me before

Probably the best Mexican food in DeLand. Unfortunately, that's not much of a recommendation. There is comfortable outdoor seating, which is nice. And they have good fresh chips and decent salsa, which is a plus. I used to really like their nachos, but they have gone downhill. But still, if you want typical Mexican restaurant style food, it's acceptable.

Woke up at 4 a.m. With indigestion after eating takeout from LDCs. I ordered #1 Combo with chili rellenos and ground beef enchiladas. The enchiladas were cheese, and they were ice-cold, even in the current heat wave which told me they went directly from their refrigerator into my togo bag. Husband had the sirloin enchiladas and meat was overcooked and dry and only gave him three tortillas. While I believe there's no other cuisine as tasty and healthy as Mexican, this is not it. The interior is clean, cool and dark, looks inviting enough place to quaff, sip or toss back a beverage and maybe tableside food is at least served hot.

Hostess wasn’t at the podium when we first came in when she finally did come she wasn’t welcoming just asked how many and sat us down, the service was okay and when we had an issue with one of our food items the Server left to go fix the issue but the owner came to speak with us he seemed passive aggressive and should work on how he talks to people. Definitely not my first pick but it wasn’t bad.

Loved this place. We have been going to another Mexican restaurant and this was our first time at Los Dos Compadres and we will be coming here from now on. All of our food was delish and cooked well. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Awesome food, but struggling with staff issues. We had a fantastic waitress, she saved the experience. I wish I had gotten her name. She knew how we appreciated her when she cashed the tip out.
American needs to get back to work. Now.

Place is super nice, the service is fast and nice people, place is clean as well the bathrooms, i.like the place it is fancy, now I do have my complaint I other a compares burrito! And the chicken was just boiled and wrapped with beens.no taste it was flat! My food was super big and nice presentation but sorry it taste bad no even close to a texmex burrito (because is no way it is a Mexican burrito) hope they fix that, I will keep training more from the menu

When you walk in the front door, you're hit with a clean smell! Not like chemicals or scents to cover smells, actually clean! Very modern design mixed with traditional as well! Food was great and all the staff worked together and were very friendly and professional! Such a lucky random find passing through!

Excellent food excellent prices and best of all excellent service. The place is all done up in new it's beautiful and comfortable

Margaritas were strong. Fajitas were tasty. Service was friendly. Clean inside. Combo plates are a good deal too.

I had one complaint. I went there extra hungry, and after eating everything on the fajitas plates i was still a bit hungry. But honestly it was good enough i will definitely be back- and probably get a combo plate of cheaper items next time im super hungry like that

Drinks are good food was good the young lady that waited on us didn't even know what the difference was between Margaritas training needs to happen I do realize we have just come off at covid so I will be back but restaurants near the train people so regardless

Out first visit. Worth the drive from Ormond Beach. The service is excellent. Good parking. Located on main highway in front of Lowes. Easy to locate. Owner came to table and checked out our selections. Best TexMex around. First chips an excellent salsa. Will differently be back!

Make sure that you get your card back after paying the check. They have so many cards that it looks like a deck of poker cards.
I had to cancel and request a new card from my bank.

Love this place! Especially how they take pride in the dining area. Clean and neat always.

Great Mexican restaurant- the steak Nachos Supreme were really good, a large portion and lots of toppings. Staff is friendly and service is quick.

Dark, Sticky, Gross.

Service is poor and the menu is basic and unimaginative. Definitely better dining options in Deland.
