Louie's Italian Restaurant reviews
20 Waited on line when we were given instructions by an employee to order off of the mobile app because it would be faster. Attempted to order using the app and of course that did not work. Had to go inside of store and pay at the kiosk. Wake up the next day to find out that the store charged my card 5x for one order.
Incompetence seems to be a key fundamental for Universal Studios.
When we received the food I could not believe how inconsistent the food was. Massive differences in size between the each slice of pizza ordered. Also surprised at how non english speaking customers were treated. I would not recommend the food fr here. Try another place and hope for better food.
One of the better restaurants in the park but this place is packed, you will struggle to find a seat
As you can imagine with all the walking around at Universal Studios, we were getting a sweet tooth! We stopped here to grab a quick treat! I ordered two scoops of strawberry gelato! Very delicious and very fresh!
We were amazed and grateful for the kind service provided by the staff at this restaurant. We requested gluten free menu and they explained to us (in person), the options we could pick from and ensured our food was kept separate in order to not mix it with non allergen friendly orders. The empathy and dedication to service exhibited by not one, but all the staff members we interacted with, left me wondering, it’s a wonderful world after all
The food is excellent. We ordered pizza slices, and they are as big as two. It's still a little pricy for what you get. The atmosphere is cool as well. It gets busy and difficult to find a place to sit down.
Do not eat the pasta! Alfredo is absolutely disgusting, no flavor but heat from the pepper and no texture to the sauce. Spaghetti is very plain sauce. My son liked the pizza
Located inside Universal Studios Theme Park. Quick Service and Good Food. Clean Restaurant.
The food was ok, the staff was more than rude. I had a problem with my machine when serving soda and literally a male employee of about 50 years of age was too frustrated and when explaining what had happened he literally tore the glass out of my hands and reluctantly threw it into the container while yelling at me. I literally shut up because he was getting super violent and I was scare of him. I’m really disappointed. I had been here in 2017 and it was a very good experience, don’t know what had happened to this restaurant.
The food was average, a pizza and a soda were $20, which is normal since the food inside the attractions is expensive. But the attitude of the employees was the worst, bad behavior. The girl who served my food had a bad attitude, and unfortunately the soda machine did not validate my glass and an employee was super rude because he thought I was refilling and rudely told me “just once. ”
Overpriced microwaveable pizza …. $60 for 4 slices & 2 drinks …. Jumbo slices are smaller then a regular slice
If I’m being honest, the food quality is -5/5. It is bland as hell I don’t know how anyone eats here. I spent 42.03 and it is NOT worth it.
Terrible service! The people who work in this restaurant do so very reluctantly. In the end we gave up and went to eat somewhere else.
Food was quite good! We all got a slice of pizza and split bread sticks. The slices are massive and a pretty decent price when you consider you're in a theme park. Decent amount of seating and the theming in the restaurant is excellent! Really matches together the NY pizza shop vibe. There are freestyle machines in here too so it made it much easier for us to fill our water bottles
Pizza was barely warm, too much sauce on pizza and it was a bitter sauce. Not worth the money! On part that was decent was the crust
We grabbed a quick dinner in Louie's to escape the rain during Halloween Horror Nights last week. They were very quick with our food. Everything was delicious. My daughter and I got the chicken Alfredo and my husband had the meatball sub and pizza fries. It was a very large portion and very filling. The pizza fries were really good and could've easily been a meal. The pasta was cooked really well. You don't expect pasta that good at a theme park, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Better than expected. I usually don't like marinara sauce, but theirs is great. It tasted like it had parmesan cheese added to it. Pizza was ok. I would recommend the spaghetti and meatballs or the meatball sandwich.
I come here a few times when at the park. Ice cold drinks, snacks on the sidewalk, pizza at another window, or you can go in and sit down. Pizza slices are big!
Mobile order made for a quick pickup. Inside & outside seating. Got a meatball sandwich, it was ok. Needed more sauce, bread was really soft, meatballs were small. Not sure how the pizza is. Next time I’ll another restaurant in the park.
We got cheese pizza, Alfredo and breadsticks. It’s theme park Italian and it filled us up with carbs and protein and dairy and will raise blood sugar to prevent meltdowns of all family members. It’s silly expensive but the lady checking us out was very friendly.
Pizza is good. Staff is not. Super rude.
Very expensive. And they don’t have boxes to go….
Won’t come back
