Lowe's Home Improvement, Boca Raton FL

I needed to replace a broken washing machine quickly since family was over with children and lowes came through with next day delivery. They were great!

An all around terrible experience. I ordered bifold doors on 6/2. Soon after that I called the Boca Raton store on State Rd 7, to double check the order was for two doors as the emailed receipt said (1). I called twice in the evening, around 8pm and 9pm and both times the phone rang repeatedly, it was answered and immediately hung up without saying a word. Upon a third time I was transferred to a rep who could not confirm the order but "looks like it's for two because it says 4 panel". He saw the order, so there must be a record of my order, right?
The rep said he would call the warehouse and would call me back with the specifics, probably the next day. That call never happened. I left it to fate, but today, 6/18/21, and no further contact from Lowes, by phone or email, I was concerned that my order was in limbo. I was not able to find the order on the Lowes website and the chat box rep, was not able to locate it either. He gave me an 800# to call. I called that number, was on hold for sooo long, so I got in queue for a call back. The recording said it would be about an 1hour 40 minutes. Seriously?
Again it's 6/18 between 2: 15pm and 3: 00, and I tried calling the Boca Raton store again for an update, AGAIN, the girl, answered the phone and immediately hung up without saying a word! I called a second time, (phone always rings incessantly) this time she answered, I said I need to speak with a manager, she asked what it was about, I said, I'm trying to get help but I keep getting hung up on. She says, "let me see what manager is here" a couple minutes later SHE HANGS UP AGAIN. I call back, she answers, I said, "please don't hang up again" and she says all the managers are busy, can she take a message and have someone call me back. Does anyone think I'll get a call back? I have officially wasted the last hour and 15 minutes on this issue. I checked my credit card for Lowes charges and there is no charge for my custom ordered doors! So the custom doors that were to take 4 to 5 weeks appears to not have been processed and has me back at square one waiting for an answer and waiting on the doors, now even longer. (I have a PO#, an ID #, a payment authorization # for my AMEX charge, an item # and a transaction # on my receipt)
If and when I get a call back from Lowes and if there is actually an order in place, I will be cancelling and giving my business to Home Depot.
This is horrible service, and there is no way to convey this information to a store manager when his customer service rep, just hangs on customers. And I doubt I'll hear back from the customer service 800#, as I've lost all faith in Lowes.

This review is not my opinion on Lowe’s, , because personally I’m a Home Depot fan but I wanted to recognize Mark who has been with Lowe’s for 20+ years who provided me with exceptional service. He went of his way to try and help me deal with an issue. Give the man a promotion.

Some of the associates are not knowledgeable and others were rude.

Only self checkout was open with a long line for the one human cashier that's assists in that area.

In the future I will go elsewhere.

Be aware that you can purchase a specific item and upon delivery the item turns out to be the one you didn't purchase.then they tell you if you want the item you originally purchased you have to pay more money

Asked where an item was and they just pointed to the entire plumbing department. Your employees cant take a second to lookup which isle its in when there was no one in line at customer service? Back to Home Depot next time where theyll even walk you there and make sure its what you need.

Best home improvement store. I bought a refrigerator, dryer, stove, disposal and grill in the last 4 years because they have the best prices. The employees are the best, they are very knowledgable about the products they sell and when you are checking out you are greeted with a smile. It’s always a pleasure to shop at Lowes.

I must say the store was fully stocked and organized I loved the fact that it was clean even though there wasn't anyone around to assist. I see that Lowes really have low prices and best of all its in my vicinity. You can also get great deals on items they are trying to get rid of and it doesn't hurt to ask for an extra discount you may just get it happy to say I did.

Lowe's is a great place to shop they have everything I need just don't ask the employees anything today I don't know nothing lol

The personnel was very helpful. Although they did not have the item that I was looking for, they were willing to order it.

They seek like a nice place, but never carry what I need. Staff is always willing to help and very polite.

Lowe's sucks. Ordered HURRICANE materials on June sixth. Dislexic Andrew wrote my contact number backwards. Tonya couldn't be bothered changeing it. Had to call corporate. Still waiting for delivery. Getting the run-around

Was very helpful.

I need an online order to be picked up at the store.
I was contacted both go as email and phone to let me know it was ready for pick-up.
When I got to the store, the will-call desk was right there as you walk in which made it very convenient.
And within five minutes of entering the store, I was back in my car with my order driving away.

Always a good place, but I couldn't get on their Wifi today. I forgot to tell customer service.

Paint selection is great. Verne was really helpful and gave us a lot of good tips. I went back 3 times buying sample colors Bc the ones I got weren’t quite right. Verne told me to get primer and stick with the colors I already bought. He was right! Would def recommend!

The worst returning policy.
For 5$ delayed me25 min and checking if my driver license expired.
Oh common are cops or home improvement store.
That's why u r always empty and Home Depot always booked

Lowe’s customer service is amazing. Employees here bend over backwards trying to help you, the exact opposite of Home Depot. Drive the extra half mile and go to Lowe’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Horrible customer service self checkout machines not working properly not to mention the waiting time

I've been coming here since the first day it opened years ago. It's another option to the other home improvement store about 1 mile further from me. I like coming here because it's usually quiet and empty. Frankly I don't comprehend how they keep the doors open. I have to say that the service here is atrocious but again it's another option with different products. I'm a technical and handy guy so require little to no assistance but I feel for anyone who does and comes here expecting it. It is kept clean and organized but feel free to stay away I enjoy the peace and quiet.
