Lowe's Home Improvement reviews
23This is my place when I need something done in my house. They do care tremendously about their clients and help is always there. They have plenty of parking, plenty of handicap and parking for Veterans as well. The other mayor place (HD) do not care about us Veteran and very unprofessional people.
Always been a fan of Lowes. Scheduling in store pickups has always been easy. Today was the first day I did a pickup from a locker and it was easy. Never noticed the lockers before. Wonder if they are new. I like it!
I signed up for the kid’s DIY workshop a month in advance, but when I went to pick up the kit today I was told they ran out of it. There is really no point of registering for the DIY workshop kit if they do not reserve it for the registrants or as I was informed by the costumer service that they did not even receive enough kits for everyone registered to begin with.
I was told it is first come first serve among the people that registered their kids, this information was not mentioned anywhere in my registration email. It only said that we could pick up the DIY kit anytime during the event weekend before the store closes on Sunday. If I had known this is first come first serve I would not have bothered to come and waited in line on a Sunday afternoon.
Overall I am very disappointed with how this experience went. This store also seemed under staffed since the line for consumer service is extremely long when I arrived at store. Also it took over 15 minutes to have someone help me loading my car when I went to purchase two bags of soil last time.
I usually get good service whenever I need assistance from a team member but today had an unpleasant experience with an older female team lady in the garden center. She doesn’t know what customer service means, she was pushy towards her younger co worker and couldn’t manage to attend another client alone. Mind you all I needed was for someone to cut open material that was placed on the shelf not fully untied. It’s annoying all the money I spend at Lowe’s instead of Home Depot to then get treated poorly by their elderly staff members.
It’s exactly as you would expect a Lowe’s store to be set up. The nice thing about Lowe’s is there almost consistently less crowded than Home Depot, so no waiting in long lines to check out which is great.
Fine for retail, absolutely abysmal for home services. They scheduled a contractor for a home visit. Contractor never showed up - citing mysterious "car accident" (once I chased it with Lowes numerous times). Had to chase Lowes for a reschedule on that and the appointment eventually happened (but they still gave us an incorrect date).
Then I had to chase Lowes for the expected resulting estimate/price quote - which was verbally given (never received in writing) and came in at over DOUBLE the price they told us it was going to be in store.
So buy your supplies there, enjoy the retail experience. But when it comes to installations and services they've demonstrated themselves to be incredibly disorganized and incompetent.
The store is very empty early in the morning when they first open. Stephanie was extremely helpful in assisting me in the hardware department. When there was an issue that was a bit more complicated, she called upon Tanya, a hardware associate for assistance. When I explained in detail what I needed to Tanya, she was more than capable of providing the parts I need to complete my woodworking project.
Everyone, including the cashiers, made my shopping experience wonderful. Highly recommend this store, not only for their selection of products, but also for the ability and friendliness of their staff.
Spent time in store shopping, Only to have to wait at the register for over 15min waiting for a manager to do an override. Then never showed.bi waited why others checked out. I was as patient as I could be. The young at the register did his part it seems they are short staffed and management is too busy to assist.
I went to pay a purchase of $ 900 and I wanted to pay with two cards and she got upset and very reluctantly made the return of an amount that had already passed and blocked the amount for several days because of her and since I am LATINO and my English is not perfect I wanted to retire without first asking for help from another person, I went to home depot, they should use more qualified staff in languages since they are located in an area where there is a great diversity of nationalities.
I love this store, it has a good variety of things to buy for home repairs and others, prices are much better and the inventory also, you can count on getting what you went to buy and needed.
It was super. Contrary to the competition I had three people offer to assist me. I spent over an hour in the comptition and had to request assistance which never arrived. So Lowe's is always my first choice now.
Great customer service! PJ came and took his time helping us in choosing the right tool. There was no lack of customer service as several employees offered to help us while we were in the store.
I mean. It’s Lowe’s. I can just go there and walk around. I know I will eventually find something I need.
This review is a culmination of the last few trips to this location. Some departments I have employees ask if I need ant help but in others there is no one to be found to ask for help. Be careful in the plumbing section with the fittings, on 3 separate occasions I couldn't find the correct number of the fittings I needed due to them being put in the wrong place and all mixed up in the boxes.
My experience today was horrible after spend 1 hour getting material I left my car near cashier I'll step off for 10 minutes when I came back some employee took all my stuff and put it back I don't know where, I have to spend another hour getting my materials
Wonderful place for all your home improvements. The only thing this location could improve on is the visibility of their associates. I feel like I frequently have to go hunting for somebody when I have a question, often across more than half the store. Once I find somebody, they always are quite helpful, it just can be frustrating having to spend several minutes looking for assistance.
We went in for information about windows. We were told to wait for the employee of that department. When the employee showed up he couldn't provide prices for any sized window. He didn't have information about warranties on the windows. His answers began "it's all ball park". The only thing close to an answer was that installation of windows ran $250-$350 per window. It was a very disappointing experience at Lowe's. At Home Depot the employee actually looked up information on his computer and had solid answers for our questions. Huge difference in the level of service provided.
I used to enjoy going to Lowes when we lived in Charlotte, NC. Now every time I go to Lowes in Florida I end up getting f@#ked. I had a horrible experience with Lowes in Port Saint Lucie. They sent two different lot numbers of tile to my home that ended up putting me 3 weeks behind schedule. Today, I was buying a storage shed and they sold it to someone else before I got to the register. Very disappointed with Lowes, especially here in FL. Home Depot is gaining a new customer with me.
I needed a key so stopped at the service desk asked if they make keys I was pointed to a machine. Long story short it took me 30 minutes to get one key made due to the 3 people at the service desk in ability to provide any service.
Had a great experience today with manager and staff. My neighbor had bought a generator on Monday to send to her family in Venezuela for aid but at the gest of her husband decided not to open the box because it looked new. Fast forward to today, as the truck driver comes to pick up the box to take to Miami he opens the box to ensure there is nothing illegal being shipped, they find that someone had returned the box with an old, rusty generator that was not even the same brand. So we took the generator to Lowe's and they immediately took our urgent situation to solve. Investigated and gave us a new one. Note to everyone, make sure you open packages before you leave the store at the very least the ones that are most expensive. Trust no one! Thank u lowe's staff from here at home and from those that will benefit in Venezuela.
