LPC Sod, Palm Harbor FL

I'm sitting here as I type, in front of LPC in Palm harbor, the trailer is locked and no one answers the phone. There's two pilots of Bahia sitting on the lot, but can't inquire about them, even though they're supposed to be open till noon.

A bit disappointed, that the owner wouldn’t remain open for 7 minutes past 4: 00 to load up my last pallet of grass. I had already bought $800 in sod that and needed one more pallet to complete my project. I explained this to the arrogant man and he just didn’t care that I live three hours away and didn’t want to drive back the next day.

He had no sympathy or compassion for me. He never greeted me when I came to the office, never honored customer service as a business professional should.

Everyone, please buy sod from Tom’s Sod or LGil sod. They waited on me and greeted me with a huge smile.

With this pandemic, we all are going through hard times. 7 minutes to make $800 is something I’d definitely honor to a customer in need. LPC sod, you have just lost a customer.

We had our entire yard re-sodded by LPC back in June, which ended up being about 14 pallets. The sod looked great on arrival and grew in phenomenally. The install team was very professional and completed the job quickly. This was the second time buying sod from LPC (first time being a small patch job a few years ago) and I would highly reccomend.

Horrible customer service by Pedro. Called last week and prepaid at about 8 am and had someone pick it up for me afternoon and then this week less than 7 days later i tried to do the same thing and was given a nasty attitude. I will not be back to your company even though I do a lot of business with your company every year.

Very low quality sod, after I install it, it died because it was full of fungi. I don't recommend to deal with them at all.

I'm looking at the way the owner responds to these reviews, and I wouldn't step foot in this place. Our neighbors got sod from here, and although it seems to have ended up ok; I was taken back at how dead it looked. It looked brown for quite some time. All complaints seem to be the same, dead sod and rude dishonest employees, which, by the way, is evident in the way you respond to your reviews. No thanks LPC! We Will take our business elsewhere!

As of right now, I just picked up some sod from LPC. I called first and the man that answered told me the types of sod they had on hand and the prices. The young man that helped me load my vehicle (in the mud due to all the rain) was very nice. The sod looks good and he made sure all the pieces I received were full pieces, not partials. Hopefully my husband and I will be able to put the sod down this evening. I read reviews on this place before I went there - the reviews were mixed so I'm just putting in my experience from today.

I own a local lawn care and landscaping company, GreenCare Property Services also based in Palm Harbor. I have used LPC for my local Palm Harbor sod install jobs. I have purchased both Bahia and St. Augustine sod from LPC. I personally have always received good customer service from this business. I call a day or two ahead and let them know approximately how many pallets I will need. I use my own rig to pick up the sod pallets and deliver and install for my customers so I can't speak on their delivery service. The bahia pallets I have purchased did have a lot of cow patties in them but I just put them under the sod when I install. Hey, free fertilizer! Some of the pieces were torn or cut irregular. I put those to the side and use them around objects or cut-to-fit areas. The bahia sod took beautifully to a very sandy property and looks amazing. Very drought friendly for a lawn with no irrigation. The St. Augustine sod I purchased was Beautiful. It was super fresh and I actually had 3 people stop and compliment how nice the sod looked while installing. I plan on using LPC again very soon for an upcoming job in North Clearwater.

These guys sell sod with fungus in it. The owner laughs and says its not my problem. I worked in the industry for 6 years and have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. Please stay far away from LPC sod.

Owner is rude and makes excuses for the dead sod they deliver. No warranty and bad service equals a big disaster dealing with them. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from these guys.

2.5 pallets of St Augustine delivered, grass was greener than the rest of my yard. Very pleased

Hired them to install 46,000sqft of sod. We had few bad sections of sod wanted to show them and get them taking care of. Now I get no returned phone calls. They are ignoring me on taking care of this matter.

I had planned on using another sod farm nearby when I read the reviews online and they were all negative. I decided to give a higher rated farm a try and came across LPC Sod. I went by there in the morning and my sod was delivered the same day! It was fresh, had zero ants, delivered to a convenient place where I needed to sod. I couldn't be happier! Thanks guys!
