Lu Garden, Orlando FL

This is, hands down, the best Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious, the people are wonderful. We came with a large party and they were really accommodating. If you are looking for a great experience, I strongly recommend this place.

They stopped doing delivery orders. Been trying to order lunch for weeks, but every time I check it always says "closed" or "busy" on the delivery app. Yeah right. They aren't closed or busy. Time to find a new place.

Absolutely best restaurant in Florida. I don't even know how to describe this place besides saying it's better than anything I've ever had. Oregon, California, Colorado, Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, and Boston. All the places I've lived, nothing comes close. Lu Garden is the epitome of high quality and blows the expectations out of the water.
You won't just love the food but you'll love the atmosphere and the people too. Our server was friendly and kind. She took such amazing care of us. The cook made deliciously perfect food. The owner tied the experience together in a caring and warming way.
My family and I are just visiting but when we come back, we're coming to Lu Garden. I wish every restaurant was like them. I also wish I could give them a higher rating. Please come visit them, I'll telling everyone!

We ordered orange chicken, general tso, chungpoa, dumplings, spring and egg rolls as well we the egg drop soup. All were better than I could have ever imagined.

Was reading reviews on this place from the next door app and finally ordered from uber. Fresh, delicious, light, definitely ordering from here again. Thank you for some authentic Chinese food.

Service was great and food was good. However, the atmosphere was like eating in a fast food spot at higher grade prices. So if you're looking for good food in a fast food feel, then this is perfect for you!

Food was delicious! Won Ton soup is One of the best we've ever had. The noodles that come with the soup are in-house fried noodles. Light n crispy We had General Tao chicken and fried rice. Chicken was crispy with tangy sauce. We are only vacationing here, wish we had one by our house! Service was quick despite a full dining area and lots of to go traffic. Def a lil gem in Orlando!

People need to start writing better reviews for authentic Chinese food and not base scores based on the expected price and flavor of General Gao's. This place deserves a way higher average score than 4.2 but I digress. The restaurant specializes in food from the Hunan region of China, so if you are ordering from the adult menu, expect a little spice. The white fish that we ordered was cooked in what the owner called a "Secret Sauce. " We were all trying to figure out what it was because it had the perfect tongue-numbing kick and then another rich-blend of spices beyond that. We took the sauce home in a separate container. We also got Peking duck, twice-cooked pork, rice for the table, standard green vegetable, tea, beef with onions and cumin lamb. The five of us made good work of all the food and enjoyed each and every dish. The place doesn't seem like it's ever packed but should be. Don't know how much it was because I didn't have to pay but the prices on the menu seemed reasonable. PS: Eat here while you can. Word on the street is that the owner is going to take over Peter's kitchen, another underrated spot worth checking out and when he's fully integrated there, he's going to shut up shop at Lu Garden and I don't think P. Kitchen will have the secret sauce right away.

My wife and I went here on Christmas day 2023. The experience was fantastic. There were not a lot of people inside, although people were picking up orders by the truck load. From the Dr. Pepper through the end of the meal, everything was delicious. We got the chicken lo Mein, shrimp fried rice, and Peking Duck. Absolutely delicious. Fresh, hot with a duck that dances on the tongue. We will be back for sure and highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for making our Christmas meal wonderful! Thumbs up!

I had got wonton soup with my sesame chicken with white rice now after I ate the soup the next day I was throwing up and the pork came up from the dumplings now I can’t eat pork and when I asked they didn’t tell me it was pork in it so now I’m really sick I’ll never eat here again

Very low quality and the food smells bad. I ordered a large family meal and the smell is bad and it’s absolutely a waste. I wouldn’t recommend it. The shrimp seems old and over cooked. The spring rolls had a weird smell and after taste.

It's easily the tastiest Chinese food I've found locally. Their menu is vast, and everyone enjoyed their food. We all tried each other's food and everyone loved every bite. Highly recommended.

Employee sat at a table eating while watching a TV show on his phone with the volume up very loud. Not relaxing whatsoever and the ambience with the pictures online do not match reality.

Better than your average strip mall Chinese restaurant. Food came out quick and was very hot. Everything was fresh and delicious would recommend.
