Luna Restaurant reviews
15Very cool sports memorabilia throughout. The menu is fantastic and the portions are huge. I recommend you split them. Nice selection of wine and the service was excellent. Bring cash or checks because they don't take credit cards.
This place I keep coming back to the meals Are so large it's out of this world. Huge and the Service is amazing
Omg.hands down the best Italian in Florida. Massive portions, you can share with whole family. Amazing atmosphere.
Great atmosphere. Staff is amazing. The downside that caused me to only rate it a 4 star would be that it is cash only and that it did not indicate that most dishes like pasta were actually family style.
**Edited note:
We have eaten at Luna a number of times now since this initial review, and love it! Luna never disappoints!
Never, ever had a bad pizza at Luna’s! Exceptional to say the least!
Pasta was amazing but X-Large serving had to go home for later! Nice ambience, wonderful service & staff always welcoming & friendly!
More food than you could ever eat - so take leftovers home for tomorrow night's dinner.
Nice atmosphere. Excellent waiter. Large portions! You better be hungry before you get there!
Food is just okay but the environment is not. Table cloths are plastic or no table cloths at all, utensils look like 5 forks for 1$ at Walmart and the water cups are plastic. Plus the water didn't taste filtered. The whole place just seems very outdated. Reminds me more of a diner, but then the price of the food should also match that of a diner. One and done.
Long-time customer: Family style Italian cuisine in a sports museum of sorts. Sam and Mike are a cornerstone of the island of Venice. We love the large portions, red sauce, lava and outstanding service. When it’s time to celebrate a birthday Lunas is on the list!
Haven’t been back since CASH only, so my review is based on “cash only” as to why disappointed. Are they laundering lol? !? ! Seems extreme to locate downtown and exclude so many potential customers!
They were short staffed.despite that we had great service from our waiter and the owner. Food usual devine! Be kind to tour servers.they work hard. The strawberry delight dessert.decadent
Afterwards too little tip. You can only pay in cash. But we only had about $70 in cash with us. That's what I told the waiter at the beginning. "we'll get it done"! The bill was $65 and I gave $70. After that we were ignored and the waiter angrily tried to give us back the $5. Awkward! You'll never go there again.
Food was good. They give you so much that you have enough for multiple meals at home with the leftovers.
The weird thing is they only take cash.
No credit cards.
This is a fun, sports inspired, Italian restaurant! The portions are out of control (in a good way). I highly recommend the lasagna! They bring a loaf of fresh baked bread for the table, and it’s outstanding! We usually have leftovers for a couple days! I love it!
We were a family of 5 who sat outside, was only brought one drink for the entire dinner, had to ask more than once to get my drink refilled.calamari appitizer was chewy/ rubber, obviously frozen, all the dinners were Huge portions, and swimming in whatever sauce they came with, everything was bland but somehow all tasted the same? Pasta was mush, way overcooked. Meatballs mediocre, sausage only tastes like fennel and nothing else. And best part of all, we all got sick!
And CASH ONLY? Clearly they are too cheap to pay the percentages for the credit card machines and have cheaped out in the kitchen, who knows what else.won't be back, strongly do not recommend.oh not to mention wayy overpriced for pasta.
