And Misty Buckingham is seriously the best hair stylist I've ever been to! She knows her stuff! My daughter and I both went to her (and we both have very different hair with different needs) and Misty not only gave us the best cut and color, she shared with us all of her tips and tricks and favorite hair secrets. I'm in love!

I haven't been to the other providers at the salon yet, but I'm sure they're just as amazing as this place is all about quality. I'm so happy to have found this in our very own Clermont!

Been here a couple of times to see Misty for a haircut, not only she has the best prices you can get for a hair cut now a days, she uses quality products that leave my hair healthy and shiny. I literally get compliments anytime she does my hair. Everyone is so friendly, perfect for anyone who feels anxious before getting a haircut. It’s such a peaceful environment to get pampered in. Won’t go anywhere else. Hands down 10/10 highly recommend.

Nadia is amazing. She is very professional and very informative on her services. I am very pleased with the final results on facials and permanent makeup.

This salon is ghetto! Steer clear of misty buckingham. Her demeanor is so know it all, she thinks she has some superiority with everything. She doesn’t even know how to cut hair! Don’t waste your money. Go to the Parlor room instead!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The people, the environment, the prices but most importantly the services were top notch. My hair turned out perfect, exactly what I asked for. Will definitely come back for the years to come.

I come here every two weeks to get my hair done by my girl Lauren. And I’m obsessed with my hair everytime! And I have no complaints what so ever! Always a great time with the girls when I’m there!

I’ve been seeing Misty since she opened her studio. I frickin love her! She listens to me, always has a smile on her face and she makes me laugh. My hair always looks fabulous! She always does a great job and I always get compliments on my hair! I fully enjoy going to get my hair done! I have referred all my friends to her.

Super bummed. I really wanted to like this place but I have to say the price tag did not match the work. I booked with Misty buckingham. I gave her an inspiration picture and my hair looks like highlights like I requested, she seems to think it’s a bayalage but it’s chunks of hair. I don’t think she quite understood what I wanted. I’ve had my hair done for decades, I’ve never paid extra for toner. My hair is shoulder length and she said she used extra color but I never saw her use extra color, she flat out lied about it.

The whole time her and her co worker were doing each others hair and talking to each other which I find super unprofessional, basically I was the third wheel and her coworker was there for no reason. Misty brought up how badly she wanted to smoke vape and I said you’re better off smoking weed, to which she replied “if I smoke weed, I’ll smoke a bunch of other stuff too! Heroin for starters. ” I’m sorry but who says that?

I go to pay and she says 330$! She charges me so much for everything I got. I had no idea toner was 65$ otherwise I would have said no thank you, I had no idea extra color was 25$ and she didn’t even use extra color! To be honest their facility is messy, and super unorganized, it’s not some top notch salon with ambience and drinks. It’s a closet essentially. I tried explaining to her I felt deceived by the additional charges as they weren’t approved or discussed.

Word to the wise ask before you book how much exactly she’s going to charge don’t assume and ask during the service and after to make sure they’re not just making up costs along the way. I was not prepared to pay that much and I’m so disappointed in the lack of resolution.

I have been going to this salon since Misty Buckingham opened her studio. I had moved from Columbus, Ohio to Groveland, Florida a year before and needed to find someone that I trusted with my hair. I met Misty and immediately liked her. She has always taken the time to listen to my hair stories and offer advice. Being a natural redhead, I don't trust just anyone to cut and highlight my hair but she has always been amazing. I have received many compliments about my cut and highlights from women in my church as well as being told by numerous work colleagues (that see me via Teams video calls) that they have "hair envy" and need to travel to Florida to get their hair done by my stylist. What a great compliment. I have never had a bad experience with her and always know upfront what her prices are, what color (s) she is using, etc. I am thankful that I found her and the studio. I will be a long time customer as long as I live in Florida.

Misty did an amazing job on my curly cut and color! She took her time detangling and conditioning my curls. After she spent time styling it and the definition lasted me several days and several different styles. The salon is also super cute and welcoming!

My experience at Lux Beauty Studio is always the most outstanding service I've ever been too! The atmosphere is always empowering, which is good for the soul! I always feel beautiful when I sit in Anoinette James chair! The other master stylist Anoinette does an amazing job as well! We can't forget about Jay the master stylist for natural hair! These girls have blessed hands, by GOD!
I pray for the over flow in this business in Jesus Name!

I have been traveling to Lux Beauty Studio for over the past 5 years and I just want to shout-out Master Stylist Toni James! I have been commuting 1 Hr and half back and forth every few months to get a Nice lather hair wash with a Brazilian silk press. She uses organic products and remedies made by her hair line “Oshun”! This product helped my hair to finally get out of the damaged stage and naturally curl and bounce back. I use it at home also. She uses protective heat hairstyles which has helped my hair grow back to a normal length that I dreamed of. She is the only stylist I have let put hair dye in my hair that has not yet over the past year broken my ends or damaged it. I have never been to a salon that actually took precautions on hair and managed the whole process throughout the growth spur. I am satisfied and will always be a customer of Lux Beauty Salon. Thank you for the hospitality as well. Great snacks and wine always available for 21+!

Lux Beauty Salon is not your regular hair salon. The energy is soooo positive! The professionalism presented by all the stylists is nothing short of Amazing! As a woman of faith, I appreciate the love, laughter and gems shared by women who are have beautiful souls, that not only make you beautiful on the outside but ensure you are internally healthy as well.

These ladies are great at what they do. Toni, the owner never disappoints. And not to mention they make you feel right at home. No long waits, clean fab salon and great service! She's the hair guru.

My wife and I had a massage with Jen and we loved. The place is very clean and the smell is so good. We intend to come back.
