I wish I had read these reviews and Lauren’s lies before I recommended my friend to use this business. Same story- clothing missing, she played the victim about being a single lol and needing to keep her lights on. She stole countless items from my friend, never itemized anything, can’t account for the inventory, etc.etc.we have all of the documentation to prove it and if needed we will post. Shameful. I thought I was helping a friend in need but instead she ended up in a worse position.

I went last week and I found some very specials things there. I’m very glad I stop by in this little hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale.

One of my favorite places to shop in Fort Lauderdale and the owner will help you have the perfect dresses/items picked out for you to try on while you’re there as well.

EDIT: there are a high amount of obviously fake reviews for this business - please disregard those that come from fake accounts. It’s terrible how people do this to business owners today on Google.

Do not take your high end merchandise to this crazy consignment store. You are better off selling & buying on Poshmark, it would be a lot more reliable. Zero professionalism.

Lauren is super sweet and helpful! I’ve had nothing but great experiences in selling and finding great clothing at her store…and lots of times with tags! Being a former boutique owner and mother myself We should always support our local establishments as much as we can!

I’ve been a victim of the owner of this business. Please beware; don’t bring your personal belongings to this establishment. If I could offer a true representation on my personal experience it would be a -1. Please stop wearing my clothes and tell me they were donated due to damage. Shame on you!

Make sure you read the many negative reviews from women who have left items here for consignment, and follow advice to take pictures of the items. Don't allow items to be "donated. " I made that mistake, but came back between 3 and 4 weeks later to check on my item. It was gone, and contract is not clear and specific about how long items sit before being donated.

I was with my mother when she went into the store to retrieve her items. Lauren went off the rail, yelling at my mother. She was yelling in her own store about why everyone bully’s her. Seems like luxure by Lauren can never take responsibility. I’ve never seen an adult and store owner act as irrationally as she did. Don’t bring your clothes to her unless you plan on donating them. She has an excuse for every negative review. What a shame!

What a disappointment, this woman is a total crook! I am not new to consignment so I can honestly say this is the worst experience ever. The women who own and work at the shop portray themselves as being caring, honest, and trust worthy… nothing can be further from the truth. The lies never end! They take your merchandise and from my experience do not pay you for what they sell! I know I am not alone…. This happens to many many many people! This woman needs to be stopped! Better off taking your clothes to a charity or selling on Poshmark or a similar online company. DO NOT CONSIGN OR SHOP AT LUXURE BY LAUREN… It’s such a scam!

Last week I was in the parking lot to take some items into LuxurebyLauren and a woman stopped me (in the parking lot) and asked if I were dropping off consignment. I explained I had never heard of the boutique - but I was at another little business in the same shopping area and saw the boutique (which was closed at the time). This woman explained that the boutique was lovely, at first, BUT I should NOT leave one item there. Apparently, it's very disorganized.and she lost a lot of items and money that were supposed to be for the consignors- the owner said "she already paid. " I have since read the reviews and the majority of the reviews are negative and seems as if everyone that consigned there, has the same terrible experience. I am very thankful to this woman that stopped me.

Her smiling face & friendly demeanor is all an act to acquire your clothing or sell to you.
To get to the point she DOES NOT GIVE YOU A CONTRACT or an accurate inventory list of your items. She DOES NOT PAY you the correct price on items she sells. She LOSES YOUR ITEMS or says she donated them. After failed attempts to resolve my inventory list and payment, I retrieved some of my clothing, getting some back SOILED & DAMAGED. When returning to pick up the remainder of my clothes I asked for clarity of what she sold. Lauren went into a manic rage, threw a print out at me and a check. She called me a f.b. Then called the police. Her behavior was berserk.
I waited for the police to arrive since I did nothing wrong & reported her. Laurens good reviews are from SHOPPERS WHO BENEFIT from THOSE OF US WHO GOT TAKEN. Please read all of the CONSIGNERS POSTS ON GOOGLE. I wish I would have.
If she needs to refresh her memory of her horrible behavior she should watch her security tape. I am sure her rebuttal will be poor me. I am being picked on. This women should not stay in business.

Beware of this place. Get a contract with every item listed and take pictures of what you leave with her. She has short term memory, if you know what I mean. Better yet, don’t deal with her at all.

CONSIGN AT YOUR OWN RISK —
1. Make sure you leave with an itemized list. If she tells you she will send you a list - it is a LIE.
2. Take pictures.
3. After 90 days — your items will be donated (to her PERSONAL collection).
4. She will place your items on the $20 table within a week of her possession. She will tell you she doesn’t know how it ended up on the table.
5. After a week, it is impossible to reach her. She will reply with “I am a single mother. ” - This is my livelihood. ”
6. Sadlly, the girls working for her know exactly what a disorganized and dishonest “business” woman she is.
7. You will most likely see your dresses on a local TV personality without your consent. Apparently, that is part of the contract you are signing.

You are NOT being bullied Lauren — I am simply sharing my experience and interactions. Everything I have stated is the truth. Yes, so unfortunate.

I had the pleasure of finding Luxure by Lauren last week and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the service and the merchandise. The owner Lauren and the sales girl Sylvia was so amazing and very helpful. The knowledge of the merchandise between them was impressive. I had such a great and fun time. Not only will I be back, I will also bring my friends.

The best inventory for all the guys out there looking for a special something for your wife or special girl!

Was in store. Lauren is not a nice person as much as she says she is. She kicked my wife and I out of her establishment and called the police. I’m sure we’re not the first.

If I could give Zero stars I would. Huge disappointment. The clothes were shabby and there was a terrible smell to many of the items. Spare yourself the gas of going there.

My aunt consigned here & she is having a hard time with this woman. She is very disorganized, doesn’t keep track of the items or money. Be careful.

DO NOT CONSIGN your beautiful clothes with this woman for you may never see them again.
Nor will you be paid for them because they strangely disappear. She is so disorganized & dishonest, don’t believe the face she presents to you, don’t believe her promises about how well your items will sell. Her record keeping us unreliable. She is unreliable. I was warned but she seemed so true to her word, I should have listened to the others who warned me not to consign with her. Just don’t do it!
