M2 at Millenia Apartments, Orlando FL

This place is awesome it’s in a good area nest door to the mall and the staff is amazing the only Luxury apartment's i seen with a huge two level 3 bedrooms and also love they lobby aswell

The pro's - the actual apartments are decent and new, maintenance is good. The new office manger and 2 of girls in the office were the only competent staff there in 3 years that cared and assisted me. Moving out was the best day I had there.

The cons
Safety
There are zero safety precautions on this property, there have been robberies in the parking garage, a home invasion you can find on the news, people’s cars have been robbed and stolen. I once noticed an armed man jumping from the 3rd floor balcony and crashing into the bushes then running off and even more sketchy things I've witnessed and the complex never addressed. Crackheads tried to open my door. The gates are never closed. No cameras anywhere. Even after all of this they only hired a security company to drive the car around the garage once or twice a night.

Noise
-Loading dock & trash - Don't bother paying extra for the lake view unless you like being woken up before 5am everyday to 10am dumpsters being being banged and rolled in an out of the loading dock for an hour. The screeching beep beep beep noise will haunt you. Then again in the middle of the day. It’s like clockwork.
-False Fire alarms - a couple times a month the fire alarm goes off for no reason. These are not scheduled test that residents are notified about they are just malfunctions. It’s gotten to the point no one even leaves their house anymore because they are not real. Which is extremely dangerous in case there ever is a real fire. They’ve gone off at 3am, the middle of the day, the evening anytime. Good luck if you work from home.
-Thin walls - you can hear your neighbors who probably aren’t actually that loud the walls are just thin. You will never get any sleep if your neighbor is blasting music all through the night. I complained multiple times and nothing was ever done. You hear people walking by in the hallways full conversation as it they’re sitting right next to you.

Property & Cleanliness
Unit - The building itself is poorly made in and falling apart. I felt like it’s only a matter of time before the building caves in. Then it literally did. Water started leaking from the ceiling on my moving day they ended up leaving a huge hole covered with some plastic on the ceiling. My unit and my friends are literally sinking. The balconies and slanting. The foundation in the hallways is cracked everywhere. I feel actual dips in my floor. It is scary and someone needs to actually check it. The doors are not sealed underneath bugs and water fly in during storms.
-The amenities are not up-kept at all, the gym equipment is clearly not serviced, I actually injured myself from a loose treadmill belt. The pool table sticks are broken, no bags for the corn hole, never condiments for the coffee. Sometimes the office smells like sewer coming from the bathrooms. The pool is always full of debris. There are no umbrellas or real shaded areas anywhere.
Outdoor areas - They do not clean enough, the trash rooms are horrible over flowing with trash. The chutes are too small and get clogged with trash-bags so residents just fill the room with trash. I'm sure you can imagine the smell. The hallways are always dirty with animal droppings and urine, trash, vomit, except for the maybe one day a month they poorly wash them. It is not a once in a while thing it is all of the time. The one grill in the "zen garden" is always filthy.
Parking garage - unsafe and creepy. There are no cameras. This shakes so much as cars go buy. It’s like a video of game of trying not to hit a car when you go in and out. It’s built to where you cannot see around corners and there are mirrors built in anywhere.

Communication
You will never be able to reach the office. You call them and an off property service picks up. Say the office will call you back and the never do. This has been happening for over a year. Sometimes when you go down there no one can even assist you. They rarely send out communications about crimes that I see happen on my ring app or look up because I see the police outside. Poor communication.

I just did a request for transferring between apt. The problem is: my moving date is today and the apt is in bad condition and it is infested with cockroaches! Even in the dishwasher! It is disgusting!

Don’t move here!
I Lived here for 3 years! Rent goes up dramatically every year! Car was broken into, front office did not care! I asked were their cameras in the garage. She basically said, your safety is not our problem when I complained about the broken gates and the brake ins. She also said, Just make sure you don’t have any visible or important items in your car, call the police it’s not their problem. Rude nasty nonchalant careless people that just want your money! They don’t care about your safety from the gates being broken months! The strong smell of weed coming in through your vents!

If you smoke pot this is the place for you! Even though this is a "strict non-smoking community" the stench of pot was rampant everywhere last night. The lease says you will be evicted for smoking but that's just the management blowing there own smoke. All they need to do is walk the hallways at night and all the evidence they need is right there under their noses.

One of the worst places to live in downtown Orlando. The place is dangerous, the parking lot and the internal areas of the condominium are very poorly cared for, the office employees do not answer you well, they hardly answer the phone, the fire alarm is triggered frequently, numerous reports of theft of residents’ cars, residents’ cars being towed inside the garage, reports of violence, the police will almost daily attend occurrences in the M2, the acoustics of the apartments are terrible, and with all this the rent is still expensive. In short, escape from this place.

I moved to M2 at Millenia just 3 months ago, and I can't wait to leave! In that time I have seen so many things, stolen cars, bears entering the corridors, swimming pool and building maintenance are dirty. Just yesterday we had an episode with an armed man walking in the corridors.and the building doesn't give us anything in terms of security, there are no cameras anywhere.oh and not to mention that since the day I moved in I've been suffering from cockroaches, lots of cockroaches! Seriously, don't move here, it's horrible!

I've lived here for 3 years, and this will be my last year! This apartment complex used to be good, but now it's having several episodes, they steal cars, break the windows and take our belongings, just yesterday there was another episode, armed robbery, imagine living in a place with fear? ! Don't live here!

Place is absolutely dangerous and expensive. No commitment with residents security, literally 6 months with no gates since they took all of this time to fix it and left the parking lot opened. Stolen motorcycle, murder, guns and assault are just a little piece of what you will get for an overpriced place. Other than that pool, gym and common areas are dirty and not that good. Stay away, we can’t wait until finding another place… this used to be a cool place though, now it’s just a ghetto, not even the cops care about this forgotten place anymore.
Ps: they never gave assistance about the stolen motorcycle, just returned our call when we pretended to be interested in renting an apartment.

I'm a future resident. The unit that they showed us is huge. Reasonable price for 1 bedroom apartment, very expensive for 2 bedroom apartment. I don't know if the area around is safe to walk around.

I would like to express my outrage at M2 at Millenia. I've lived here for 3 years and in the last few months we've been living with neglect and lack of security. We residents feel unprotected, gates are always broken and that's why they are always open! A few days ago we had the unexpected visit of a huge black bear walking through the corridors of the condominium. We've already asked for cameras to be installed, but they always say they can't put them up. Terrible administration! When car thefts occur in the garage, we receive an email to avoid leaving personal belongings in the cars! Non sense!

Full of cockroaches, the corridors and common areas dirty and with a bad smell, inside the apartments there is humidity and mold, the air conditioners are more damaged than they work, cockroaches everywhere, if it rains everyone is filthy the corridors and to get to the apartment you almost have to swim and days go by like this, there is no security in the parking lot, they rob you, they crash your vehicle and nobody takes responsibility, "the manager" if CAROLINA can be called that worst of the worst, apart from giving bad treatment to both the tenants and the people who go in search of information, if you are going to make a complaint, they ignore you and they never ever solve the problem, they also believe they are the owner and want to increase the rents or and if you do not accept they send you to evict in a rude and even illegal way, DO NOT MOVE THERE,

Have lived here 2 years bc it’s cheaper than most apartments but definitely a firm believer in you get what you pay for. It’s worth paying more somewhere else to avoid this headache. They increase the rent dramatically every year and the care for the property decreases along with the treatment of the residents.
The staff talks down to the residents as if we are stupid.
The pool is never clean
The elevator doesn’t work and you can’t access the package room unless you’re home during business hours
The gate has been broken for a few months now so anyone can come and go when they please which has resulted in a dramatic increase in car break ins
I’m confused where the money from the increase in rent is going. The rooms are very small.
If you request pest control you need to be in your apartment 24/7 to be there for them to show up randomly in order for them to perform the service because they never call to schedule a time nor do they call if they are arriving and need access to your apartment. And the off chance you actually get them to come take care of things. All they do is set out poison food instead of spraying and taking care of the problem directly God forbid they actually figure out who is complaining because then the complex will begin to target the resident.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

It has been a bad experience to live in M2, it is a condominium that has no security, very dirty, there is always some vandalism, people break car windows, or try to get into their apartment, residents try everything with the administration but they do not care and they leave people without answers, we pay a lot to live in this condominium and not have the minimum of security, do not live here you will have the worst experience that can exist, even in summer the pool is dirty for days, we really want to leave this condominium, we look forward to the end of the contract and never having to return to live in the M2 again. Don't fall for it, look for a safe place to be with your family.

This place has been ruined since we signed the lease. The apartment lets everyone lives in here with a bunch of roommates and sub-lease agreements but will deny a application for someone apply alone.

I live here since 2020 and it only gets worse.

The rent has increased ridiculous, there is no security, place is dirty, there is glass bottle of beer in every in the parking spots, the garage gate in wide open for months, my car was broken in and money was stolen, nobody cares.

I cannot wait to leave this s** hole, they are lucky if my husband and I do not actually file a law suit against this property.

Here we only have obligation: " Pay the rent on time" they have ZERO responsibility with the tenants quality of living or security.

Nothing works when you need the most, but try to leave your car parked outside overnight or parked on a reserved spot has has not been rented and they will report your card right away to be towed.

Save your time and the headache. Do not apply here.

They really think they can rise the rent for this poor of quality service provided. This place sucks.

Not a safe place to live in.
It’s happening some vandalism with some cars. The leasing management doesn’t take any responsibility with this situation.
The gate it’s broken so it has to stay open letting some bad people to get in and broken some cars windows.
I have some roaches in my apartment that they can’t fixed.
