Macillon Grio Fish & Chicken reviews
27The food is 7/10. Rice is good. My chicken was good but it was dry. Mac and cheese had no type of salt. 0/10. The wait for your food is going to be at least 35min after ordering. It takes way too long. The girl who takes orders is horrible at customer service. She is not a good front desk person at all. Check your food and make sure it’s right before you go. The guy is pretty good and helpful.
This place has the worst customer service, on 5 -11 i came and the lady Cary refuse to take my order. Luck the man was next to her to help me out. If you value customer service dont come here
Good food but I can never call and place an order and when I do place the order it’s never ready when I get there. And I get there 30 minutes after I place the order
Bad customer service they never answer the phone one time I was standing in the store I ring the phone the young lady just turn it on silence instead of answering can’t have a business and not answering the phone
I'm eager to try different food from a foreign country while being in Miami, and this particular spot steel my heart. Jude is a fantastic dude. He helps me to pick the best, so someone new to this kind of food but the Macaroni is DOPE.
Love it ️
This place have the very best Haitian Food. Omg, it's well worth the price. The only problem with this place, is the parking, but if you park in the back of the building.you won't have to worry about your car getting towed. Now on to the good things, they make each platter fresh, for example if you ordered the Griot (fried pork), once you put the order in.thats when the start to prepare it.and it's so good, so fresh, the whole vibes is good.plansant customer service.any way when you visit Macillon, think of me while ordering 1 plate of each food they have to offer.
The food was very delicious
If you go there you should order the fried fish with onions it's very delicious. The plantains are fried to perfection.
We go to this place pretty often and we don’t get a good experience. First of all, they don’t really answer the phone. Their voicemail is full and if you don’t hang up they hang up for you. Second, it’s REALLY BUSY. They get someone else’s order and sometimes forget about you and you have to remind them about your order. Lastly, they have slow service. Sometimes they take a whole 30 minutes for a small order. Really disappointed in this restaurant.
Whenever I'm looking for a great Haitian homemade meal, this is the spot to go for as long as the wait is extreme, its worth my time but most recently they hire this cute nerdy guy with glasses, I'm excited just to see him although I don't talk to him.so well spoken, handsome, efficient and professional.last night he took my order, even as a guy, I was so nervous that I had to go wait outside to not make any awkward eye contact but he's a Prince
I waited for an hour to receive what I ordered. They never once picked up the phone and are in need of more employees. Overall I'm very disappoint in the disorganization I witnessed.
The wait is added pleasure to the fulfilment of having a plate of Haitian food from this joint.
On the 3rd try I officially got to experience this secret gem of Miami. The lines on the weekends (my personal experience) are usually a deterrent, and if you have the time and are not famished, treat yourself and you will thank yourself for that self anchoring to try a plate.
Enjoy!
Griot no good. Banane pesee good. Piklis no good. Too watery. Any extra picklis 50cents. If you order only griot no rice no plantins they
Refused or you paid same price. The rice not enough beans. Cheap rice.good luck.
Exceptional Haitian cuisine! I love eating here knowing I will get the same great flavor, portions, and consistency whenever I come. By the way the pwason fri (fried fish) and bannann fri (fried plantains) are to die for!
The drive is always worth it from Broward. Food is fresh and well seasoned. Plantains are so soft and good. My favorite is the fried snapper or griot.
Very slow service, sometimes rude, ignored you. The fritay is good, but rice and bean not really on point sometimes. They need to be ameliorated their customer service. It is a clean place and almost only one haitian restaurant that accepts card.
I really enjoy this food! 1st and only Haitian restaurant that I go to frequently. Pretty good portion size and quality and overall good service.
It's a place that is convenient to get Haitian food. It is usually busy in there around noon or so. My only issue with those places is the cleanliness of the kitchen and their bathroom. I think it would be a great advancement if businesses start seeing their bathroom is an extension of themselves and that it needs to be clean.
Friendly environment, great tasting food. One of my favorite Haitian restaurants My first go to choice. One issue I have is waiting for your food rather you call, or walk in takes to long. Hats off to a good Haitian Creole restaurant. Season is always perfect. GOD Bless Macillion Restaurant. Keep up the good work.
Great food, but the service can be slow. Even if you order ahead, expect to wait 15 minutes. This send to be part for the course with Haitian restaurants. If that changed, I'd give them 5 stars.
Very good food.hate the parking issues n the wait time, but the food is freshly made n gr8 2 taste. Patience is an real virtue wit dem
