Macita's Restaurant & Bakery, Cutler Bay FL

Food was delicious. The empanada was about as good as you'll find anywhere else in town. I had the steak Caballo, which was great. The bandeja paisa was good too, although I feel like you get a bigger portion for the price at other restaurants.

I give it 4 stars and not 5/ I FEEL I should say this because I think no one has/ everytime I come here for dinner and order a side of beans which is almost like my favorite part of the meal/ the beans are always cold/ the whole meal is ruined/ those beans are the reason food taste good/great/ but cold beans? / Nope doesn't work/ everytime I think about eating here/ I say to myself all the time/ nope/ it's a NO simply because of the beans always cold/ it never fails. But overall fantastic restaraunt/ I agree.

Very bad, I must be the change the cookers, I used to order this soup for my mom, I did order today and this is what she got, couldn’t eat it, the soup doesn’t have any meet at all, instead they put a pice of meet that I don’t know what kind of meat it’s, we can cut it, super hard. Bad for them, this is how a place star to get to the End.

First time eating a meal there and was pleasantly surprised. Usually get some empenadas as take out and they are always good.

Haven’t ordered from this location I’m a few years since their Hammocks location is much closer to my home. However, you can tell the difference. The quality and taste of this location is still the same as when I would eat there close to years ago. Had the churrasco and bandeja paisa and the were fabulous. This is in contrast to the Hammocks location who can’t even prepare their beans well and are basically just a bean juice. The amount of of food for my take out order was also more than adequate which isn’t the case at the other location. As always 5 stars for the original location.

Really bad experience with the service, hade only one person taking care of the to go orders where backed up about 40 min to get you out, the wait time just to start my order was like 15 -20 min

Nice place to eat. Little crowded on weekends but the attentive staff and great food will make the wait worthy. Waitresses are very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu choices. Food was delicious and portions are nice so make your choice really well because you will get satisfied. For I will come back and I recommend this place. Still pending to try something from the bakery.

Great food, wonderful prices, I was amazed. I am going back tomorrow. I thought I was being brave as it didn’t look nearly as impressive outside as it turned out to be inside. It is quite large, waitresses were lovely, gracefully working a filled room. Wonderful menu. I have not have shrimp that tasted like they came out of an island salt water creek anywhere since leaving South Carolina in 1986. My boy (in his fifties) and I were overwhelmed with his steak salad, delicious steak and my previously mentioned shrimp in garlic sauce. WOW! Mary

Been coming here for years! Super authentic Colombian Food and Pastries. Definitely coming back next week for some delicious pan de bono and buñuelos.
