My scuba certification experience at Mac's was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff displayed a level of expertise that immediately put me at ease. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about diving, creating an environment that made learning both enjoyable and safe.

Mac's is an amazing place to get certified to dive. Keith Grubbs and all the staff are knowledgeable and helpful in answering any questions. The classes that I have taken so far have been fun and enjoyable.

Macs does a great job with service, products and repairs. Mike Odette is very knowledgable and friendly and does a great job with the tanks ect. Matt and Keith also do a great job with repairs and instruction. I would encourage anyone that is thinking about scuba diving, I would recommend Macs in a second.

I really enjoyed getting my open water certification through Mac Sports. Keith was amazing! He was so patient and understanding with me, taking the time to make sure that I fully understood everything. I really had a great time and I cant wait to get out there and go scuba diving.

I love Macs dive shop! Great customer service that makes you feel a part of the community, always welcomed with a smiling face. I got certified and have purchased all my gear here in 21’ and they’re quick to help me get set for the next dive trips. Mike was super great with getting my gear serviced quickly when I was there last.

Staff members are very nice and friendly. They will help you learn what gear and features will work for what you need and can help you plan ahead.

Thank you to Steve and Jolly for helping my husband with our first ocean dive. We found some really great teeth, barbs and fossils. Definitely recommend Mac’s when it comes to all things scuba!

I started going to this shop over a decade ago when I lived in Clearwater and since moving out of state continue to join their team for trips when visiting the area. I've always experienced excellent customer service, staff will happily spend time to discuss details of gear or trips. Recently I joined them for a quick day trip to look for shark's teeth and Steve and Shawn led an awesome day! Everyone I've spoken to has been kind and answered questions patiently.

Had the best time learning how to dive with Keith grubbs and our amazing scuba team. It has been a memorable time and we made friends for life. Keith is so patient, kind and funny. It made this whole experience easy and exciting. Any wait to go on dive adventures with Mac sports.

We just completed a refresher course with Steve Nunemaker; we had originally certified back in 2011, but stopped diving just before the pandemic. Steve was really personable and very knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable again with getting in the water. He took the time to answer our questions as well as quiz us with things we should know (and had forgot). He also helped me get a new prescription dive mask, picked out a great option. Thanks Steve, and Mac’s!

Took my open water course with Scuba Steve and it was awesome! Immediately signed up for the advanced class with him. Have done a few dives through Mac’s with several different dive masters now and all of them are amazing at what they do!

I walked into Mac’s and Keith Grubbs helped me pick out a complete dive rig which I used through my certification class. Keith was patient, understanding and made sure everyone us in the class got comfortable with diving.

The class was very focused on building competency and capability to dive. I am looking forward to more dives and developing my skills.

I recently received my Nitrox and you couldn't ask for a better facility or better trainers than the ones at Macs sports. They're knowledgeable friendly and beyond helpful. In anyone wanting to learn to scuba dive or rush up on your skills you need to ask for run best teach your hands down.

Brian was excellent as our Dive instructor. He explained everything and then verified we could do all the different procedures. Mac's Sports is awesome! They got my equipment bench tested in time for class and made sure my dive computer is ready for my trip to the Keys. I feel much more confident now to do my upcoming dives. Thank you!
