Mad Dog Surf Shop, Daytona Beach Shores FL

The owner here is amazing and the staff brightens any mood! They give you their best honest opinion and are always ready to help. They helped my brother learn so much about his board and gave him great suggestions. We don’t get to see them often but when we do it’s always an amazing time. This is right across the street from the Dahlia Park near the pier so there’s plenty of parking before you go into the ocean and if by chance you need anything then Mad Dog’s got you covered!

Had an amazing experience here. The owner is so incredibly kind. The surf shop is located close by to the beach. We rented some foam boards twice during our stay and came back the second time because the owner was so lovely. If you’re looking for a great surf experience in Daytona you must come here!

I tried to make an appointment for a surfing class twice. The first time I was told someone will call me the next day I had no phone calls. The second time my appointment was scheduled for 8am I waited 30 minutes and nobody showed up. For me this was very unprofessional service. Don’t waste your time there are better surf shops that provide surfing lessons.

We have been coming to Ponce Inlet for 12 years and I’ve never stopped in to this shop. I’m so glad I did. Picked out a T-shirt and the staff was very helpful.

Stopped in to check out the shop and met the owner and associate. He gave us a shirt and stickers. So a week later I stopped in to get some new kicks and got exactly what I wanted. Very knowledgeable and helpful on them also. STOP HERE YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID FOR SURE! SUNGLASSES, BOARD SHORTS, SHIRTS, BOARDS! AND SO MUCH MORE HERE!

Great experience with Mad Dog Surf Shop. Friendly, Knowledgeable, and lots of great gear to help out your stoke. Rented a board to surf in the area for a couple days and highly recommend Mad Dog as the place to come.

Had a great experience here. Had a pair of sandals that didn’t fit, they made sure I got the right ones and worked with me to make sure I was good to go. Staff was very personable, felt like talking to people I knew for awhile. Highly recommend for quality stuff you may need!

Went in to get some zinc oxide to cover scar tissue on my shoulder before hitting the waves. Bought a very cool logo cap and the owner said no charge for the zinc oxide. He has everything and you can tell he's meticulous. Great surf shop!

In town from San Diego visiting relatives. Stopped by the shop to rent a board for the day. Owner went above and beyond helping me out. Asked if he had a 8' I could rent. He broke a new board out of plastic, put some new fins on it, and gave me a bar of wax. Extremely kind dude, shops like these don't exist anymore. Mad Dog is the spot

The best surf shop anywhere! Bernie and Greg run such a classy shop. Always well merchandised and clean. Plenty of top quality gear including the Maddog brand. Bernies custom surfboards are second to none. It's awesome going into a surf shop with knowledgeable and accommodating staff that aren't condescending like other surfshops.

It is always a nice experience visiting Mad Dog Surf Shop and spend a little time with the owner, Bernie, reminiscing about the good old days. And always picking up some tees and sandals. Mad Dog is well stocked surf shop with all your surfing needs.

These guys are the best, had a trip to Cali planned and found a way to ding my board pretty bad 1 week before my trip. Called them, took my board there, they fixed it up really nice and I’m gonna be able to make my trip. Highly recommended, these guys are the real deal. EPIC TO UNREAL
