Mad Hatters Ethnobotanical Kava Bar, St. Petersburg FL

I purchased 32 ounces of Kratom and it was quite weak. Pretty disappointed. Tea- tender was sweet though!

Love this place. Like a home away from home for all the misfits. The Walter White is especially helpful for working when I just don't want to.

We are reusable customers here and it is a very good place to be. The staff always take care of you and the atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking for downtime.

There's really nothing that compares to this place. Spacious, tons of games to play, tv, good music, great staff, great drinks, extremely good wifi, open 24/7. I have been to every single coffee shop, kava/kratom bar, and wifi lounge in St Pete and really none of them can compare to Mad Hatter's. This is a must-visit location an is absolutely one of the best places to relax and get work done

This place is simply unique and needs to be experienced in person. It’s an alcohol free premises focused on Kava-infused teas and beverages. The servers / bartenders were incredibly helpful and friendly. On a warm evening you can sit outdoors and play board games while sipping on a nice cuppa. On the night we visited, there were local flamethrowers performing in the car lot, and artisans selling their jewelry and other wares. It was great to experience an evening with this eclectic community. Be adventurous and give it a try for something quite out of the ordinary.

The place has a great business model but there drinks are weak and over priced. They offer a "boost", which is an extract to make them more potent to there already over priced drinks. 8 ounces for about 7 bucks. It's about 85 cents an ounce, kinda high. Been there about 10 times to see if there drinks have changed because the atmosphere is great but you will spend about a hundred bucks and pee alot to feel the effects of there teas.

Great chill spot to visit in St Pete! Kava is nice here, and the hookahs are made to perfection! Every visit here is something new, and can turn into your favorite place to visit.

I stopped by to see what this cute and quaint place was and enjoyed a large blended tea with free refill. Closest thing to old fashion coffee house with friendly people of all ages who explained the difference between Kratum and Kava to me too. Nice alternative to small bar.

Always a favorite. Always. One of my number one st Petersburg haunts. From the quiet late nights to the party's and all the random weeknights. This place is special.

There is fun for everyone! However they did push the one drink per person, and we were not all interested in the tea selection.

This is the place to go to if you need pain relief, energy, relaxation, a great conversation, and a positive atmosphere! I love coming here, and the fact that it's open all the time fits my busy schedule very well. Love being served by Libby, request her! She'll take good care of you! Can't wait to go back.

I absolutely love going to mad hatters. The people there are amazing, the teas are great and the atmosphere is so much fun. I love going for flow Saturdays and watching the fire spinners! I will definitely be back!

Great place to hang out and chill they have awesome bartenders, every single one is so nice and awesome at making my drink, hookahs to rent which is awesome and all they're games are huge just like they would be if you were alice in wonderland. Art is everywhere in there and it is some really cool stuff. Saterday are the best when everyone comes out and partys.

Pricey but well worth going to.
Drinks are over $5 bucks and are not tbat great to me.
Environment is very well set.
I was just expecting more of a coffee house but it seems as if tbey cater to a diifferent crowd.
This is definatly a good chill spot and I plan to go AGAIN.

Super cool atmosphere with amazing artwork in the theme of Alice in wonderland and retro music made me feel relaxed and happy along with the My lil Pony kratom tea with peach and hibiscus. Perfect combination. Played ping pong. ️

I had to go see this place after I saw the website and it is even cooler in person than I imagined. Libby the bartender was SO patient and nice to me. She explained everything which made my decision making a little easier. I ordered the kratom tea. It didn't taste very good but that's my own fault for not getting extra flavor. I am actually still drinking the tea as I'm typing this so I don't know how it's going to make me feel but either way I will be back!

Love it here! Great people, great drinks, and the food truck has delicious food! Also Wonderflow on Saturday nights is amazing and the hosts, Roma and Maze, always make everyone feel welcome!

Very smart design and layout. The physical place draws you in just with its comfortable atmosphere. But is an ultra cliquey place and if you don't look/act/think like them you wont be accepted. Don't believe me? Well if you don't fit their mold you'll see.
