I had a wonderful experience at Mad Music. I’m from the area but had moved away many years ago. I was visiting the area on vacation and went to Mad Music to buy some strings, strap locks, polish, and accessories etc. I ended up playing this beautiful lightly used Purple Jackson Monarkh. Rob was awesome. After talking to Rob and realizing he’s been around for a long time I remembered the store from the old days.
I fell in love with the Purple Jackson and Rob had a nice used hard shell Gator case that fit it well. The price was very fair and I went home with a wonderful memory and a beautiful Purple Jackson. I miss my friends, family and the St. Pete area very much. But when I look at my guitar and play it, it reminds me of my great experience at Mad Music and my vacation. I can’t wait to go back and visit Mad Music again. Thank you Rob,

I’ve been here for bits and pieces, but today I bought my fantasy axe. Great gear and very reasonable prices, this US Strat doesn’t just play like butter, but looks killer too. Excellent experience, thank you so much Rob! Highly recommend to any local musicians.

Love stopping into my local, neighborhood music store Mad Music. The guys that work there are total pros, the used gear is some of the best and the prices are deal-worthy. Picked up my first Supro amplifier and love it, brand new quality at a very reasonable price.

I was looking for a pair of drum sticks (more less i had been thinking about when i get around to a music store and i was sitting at a a craft and drink / dessert place and saw the MAD MUSIC sign & desided to trot over and peek inside it was.pretty interesting and I got my drum sticks so now that I am retired living with my adult daughter 38 and 15 year old son its operation pay back time but I took it at the. Gee that would be a really enjoyable healthy way to keep my wrist limber! Who said aging wasn't going to be fun!

Just picked up my Ibanez and Aklot acoustic guitars and no one will ever touch my equipment again except Mad Music. These to guitars are better than ever before. They both have the low action I want and play beautiful, no buzz or intonation problems. Thank you so much you have no idea how upset I was with the last pro that set up my baby. Awesome price to by the way, half of the other so called set up.

Went in to find my girlfriend her first guitar. We just moved to Florida and were headed to guitar center but came to Mad Music instead on a whim. The gentleman at the counter was terrific, knowledgable and very friendly. He just let us do our thing, and we felt none of that awkward pressure to buy. We ended up getting my girlfriend a really cool vintage Gretsch acoustic. Just an all around great vibe at the shop.

I love this gem of a guitar store in St Pete! I purchased a 12-string a year ago, and they re-string it when needs it. Friendly people, knowledgeable, and great service.
