Maetozo Total Women’s Care of Saint Augustine, St. Augustine FL

The older woman assistant that brought me into the room was abrasive and impolite. She purposefully walked in on me while I was changing and didn't apologize at all. Like girl, I'm naked. She's rude and unprofessional. The doctor, Diane, is great; but I have had to wait longer than an hour the last 2 times I visited. Unfortunately I think I'll have to find a new office.
It also annoyed me that when I asked them to send my prescription to my pharmacy, they said "you have to call them and tell them to contact us"? Do you know how hard it is to get Walgreens or CVS on the phone? Just very inconveniencing and really made no sense.

This office can have its other star back when its nurses actually slow down and listen to their patients instead of repeatedly cutting them off mid sentence when they’re trying to explain their symptoms. But 4 stars because *most* of them are lovely.

Place is a joke. I scheduled and confirmed text yet they took me off the schedule as you have to complete the portal which I was unaware of & didn’t receive until last week. Note I drove 40 minutes to get here and never once received a call about my appointment canceling. If this is how you operate it’s pitiful as someone needed to be seen.

I have been a patient here for years but I will no longer be associating with these crooks! Current practices include having you come in without ever seeing a doctor and then charging you as if you did. I paid over $200 for a sonogram and then was charged an additional $101.25 for a 5 minute phone call to go over the test results- all these people care about is money and they are crooks! Probably why Sheri sees such a high turnover with her PA’s- they do all the work while she collects all the money. Ladies- Find a doctor that will actually care about your well-being and see you when you come in! Very disappointing!

This is such a great place. When I first went in to make an appointment Heather was so kind. She turned a bad day into a good one. Then at my appointment the staff was friendly and welcoming. Shawna Sandford ARNP quickly figured out what was going on and explained it thoroughly. Thank you all!

I have been a patient of Dr. Maetozo's for over 27 years, but left this year because I was charged a $50 office visit payment for a 3 minute phone call giving me test results.
Had I been told that I would be charged an office visit fee, I would have told them not to call unless it was life-threatening (everything was normal).
