First visit was great. Took us when we walked in. Trying to make an appointment this year over the phone impossible. No one answers the phone. Made an appointment elsewhere.

Customer service over the phone is pitiful. No body don't understand anything just to transfer the call after being on hold for 30min to talk to a recorder. Then to call be back waited again for 30min just so the system to say leave a call back number how frustrating that was. And I read in other reviews you addressed one review but not the phone situation. Every one love good comments it is some reviews you need to look into to fix so you can addressed the issue not just the compliments

The visit was quick. However the last portion of the visit could've went smoother. Daniella needs more help fitting people for their glasses. In addition she needs to reveal what a person insurance covers prior to asking them to choose a pair of glasses. The tactic she used was just pick out some glasses and then we can discuss prices. That was a trick in favor of the eye institute. Once she told me what the insurance covered I had to ask her about the glasses that were in my price range. Instead of wasting my time she should have immediately told me about the prices and what the insurance covered. Spending additional money should be a choice patients receive up front. I felt like I was being tricked intentionally. The only reason she told me about the cheaper glasses is because I had to keep asking about what was in my price range.

I have had my annual eye exam at this office for the past 2 years and it was a very positive experience. However, I am due for my annual eye exam for this year and have tried to call to schedule an appointment 3 days in a row and nobody answers the phone. I am on hold for at least 30 minutes each time, listening to the recording telling me how important their customers are to them, before I finally hang up.

Friendly, nice people, very nice comfortable office, Dr had all the latest equipment, 1-10, I give it a 10

Given this location by my insurance provider and called the phone number 5 times and never could get a person to answer the call or pick up to make an appt. What kind of business does not have an available attendant to set up an appt? Bad business practice! I’m

I was worked in for an appointment because of a cancellation. That in itself is a first. My previous Eye Doctor Co.of 8 years had me waiting for 3 months for an eye appointment, and I assume they never had a cancellation. At Magruder Eye Institute, from the appointment the next day after I called, everything went as smooth as could be. The staff was both professional and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I was so relieved to see an eye doctor since losing my most recent prescription glasses in January! My other Eye Doctor didn't care. I went away a very happy patient from Magruder Eye Institute.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. My child has been in their care now for a few years for myopia control, which is super sensitive to monitor. They hardly answer their phone and tell me different stories each time I call. It is impossible to get anything taken care of here! If you have a choice to go somewhere else…DO!

It is sometimes difficult to contact the office but overall excellent help.

I did take my meds for 6 months, so the doctor and his assistant took the time and showed me the pictures and explained the importance. No one did that before.

Dr Glass and her staff are very kind, patient, and professional. I have been going there for several years.

Prepare to wait forever! My client had a 9: 30a appointment and we waited over 2 hours to see the doctor! Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional! Have not been to this location in so long and I remember why!

I have seen many specialists through the years and McGruder eye institute is among the very top in professionalism and quality of care. When I am being seen I never feel rushed and the facility is immaculately clean and well organized. I will never use another eye care facility as it would be a step down.
