Maharaja's Fine Jewelry & Gift, Panama City FL

Been a long time customer and always impressed by the selection available, especially of fine gemstones. One of the owners reached out to check on me, and agreed to take an item in trade I bought the previous year but didn’t wear. Great service is hard to find anymore.

I was going to remove this review because I spoke to the owner who was a very nice man, I realize it is a jewelry store and they need to protect the merchandise, however, after speaking to 2 other people and they had the same experience and I asked if it was the same lady, because I would have figured it's just her personality, but they said it was not her, I thinkmaybe their staff needs to be a little more friendly and less militant, if you are that concerned about people walking around, put a guard at the door, I know that would make it feel more like protection for both the customer and store rather than being followed like a thief, if you want to walk with me, walk beside me or in front of me, not sneaking up and when I turn to ask a question I practically bump in to you. If someone is looking at something, make a comment or suggestion, "isn't that beautiful? It is made by. " I gave a couple more star's because of the kind gentleman I spoke to, but, because I spoke to 2 other people who said the same thing, the rest of my original statement stands.
I will NEVER step foot in this place again, this big lady with a Polish accent, was SO RUDE and followed me around like I was going to take something, every question she answered with a snide remark, she also told me a gold chain & some other jewelry I had was fake, I took it to Coin & Bullion where they are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming and told them what she said, so they tested it, for free and said, She was wrong it's real, I went to an expert with some Turquoise she said was fake beads and he told me, no it's real, it's just been polished, it's a pre 1980s piece it is stamped with the artists mark, not the marks they use now. So as for the lady who said I don't know anything unless I went to school to be a gemologist, apparently YOU don't know everything either OR you're dishonest, also, don't be so quick to judge people, you never know what might be in their safe deposit box, maybe I could have bought whatever I wanted in there, but when someone treats me with disrespect, I'd rather go elsewhere, even if it costs more.

The customer service definitely meets expectations. Lisa, and others are always kind and polite. I am from Atlanta Georgia and they welcome me and I have purchased many pieces and had custom made. Prices always affordable. Please keep up the great great job.

These are some of the loveliest people I've ever met. Family business for nearly 50 years. My son in law bought my daughter's wedding ring at Maharaja's. She wanted the jewel from her grandmother's wedding ring put into her own and they nailed it.

Manu, Mohit, and their staff listen to people and really customize their jewelry and story to match their story.

I came to Maharaja's with a bracelet that I could not fix. I cannot overstate how gracious they were. They fixed the problem bracelet and made me feel like a valued client even thought the problem was minor to them. They are wonderful people. I am happy to highly recommend them.

I was intimidated to go in at first. Immediately I was put at ease and made to feel at home. They created a beautiful setting on a wedding band for me! Heidi was patient while I decided, and the finished setting was just what I wanted! Kim was always there to help on the showroom floor, help with some gifts, greet me like an old friend. I highly recommend them as they create a comfortable, helpful environment. Never rude! Stop by, you won't regret it!
