Maingate Kissimmee Hotel reviews
8Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. I read horror stories about this place, but our stay was comfortable and clean. No restaurant as advertised though.only 10 minutes from the Disney Parks by car though! Uber is readily available (and cheaper than driving and parking at Disney)!
Kind of run down, beds were hard. It was clean though, which is nice. Staff is friendly and the mini kitchen is wonderful to have.
There was black mold in the restroom walls and in the living room curtain we were going to stay for 4 days but we had to leave two days before because my fiance got sick from the smell of black mold not good stay away
The Ambient is quiet, calm, the staff is kind and the room are confortable, And the best of all, HOT WATER! No breakfast. But overall is a good hotel! Recomend it.
Good place. However. Wifi is dead and this complicates stuff for a tourist if you dont have a phone with data plan. Better get that covered first just in case and everything else should be good. They should have rooms with microwaves. The only one they have is so far away from the rooms. It is close to Walmart and the Disney parks so it is good stuff in balance overall.
Recently renovated hotel on US-192 West, very close to the Disney Parks. I believe it was a Red Roof before. I went to visit a nephew who was staying there. The night receptionist was very courteous, nice and helpful. The lobby was clean, ample, and well illuminated. Parking lot was also clean. The room, though small, was cozy, it had two king size beds, A/C, a flat TV, microwave, small fridge, and a safe. Bathroom was also very clean. No smells of any kind either. The convenience store carries limited toiletries, souvenirs and some last minute food for those late night cravings. I didn't go inside the dining area, so I don't know how the food or service is. At $60 per night I believe it is a good deal if you wanna be close to the action. Did I mention that around the corner is a brand new Walmart Supercenter?
Location amazing! Rooms.old dirt ripped curtain. Pull out sofa ripped. Trash filled the cans outside Trash scattered around the property never picked up. Clean sheets bed was okay. Rooms needed a little TLC
