I'm not in a good place in my life right now and I told my server I was broke but had enough for a side dish. She said don't worry about it and the diner bought me breakfast. I'll never forget today. Thanks for being kind to me when I needed it most.

The pancakes were delicious. My first time going there while I'm on my trip to Tampa Florida.

We were in town for Hallo-scream and decided to stop here for breakfast before head home. I am so glad we did, their breakfast was great and the mimosa was wonderful! Service was great, wait staff was very attentive. We were a large group of 8, and they sat us down quickly. We will definitely be stopping here again next time we are in town.

Horrible service from waitress. Ordered Fish sandwich and fries. This lady gave me a piece of fish and French fries, I asked where is the bread? " Oh it doesn't come with bread" wait what? "I need to speak with the manger" " he has left and I don't know when he will return " insane! For a fish and french fries and my husband had the chicken wrap and fries. During lunch hours this total up to $31.77 poor service, upon checking out miraculously the manager and I speak. However, the gentleman was very nice and offer to make me the fish sandwich I never received when I ordered it. I declined and gave my food to a homeless man. Never again will I dine in Mama's Kitchen. Your workers are a reflection of the owner. And I HATE bad customer service. I will never spend my hard earned money where an individual gives Horrible service.

Awesome Service. Great food. Huge portions. Normally don't get full off of breakfast. But this one got me there. Good atmosphere, Good energy most of all Awesome service. Thank you

Breakfast was good. Our waitress was excellent she checked on us frequently and someone always coming around with a full pot of coffee to top off the diners coffee. 3 of us ate for 41.00 plus tip.

What a let down. I went to the Florida Ave location near Busch Blvd. Very slow service, and the food was sub-par. Good pancakes and good hollandaise sauce but much of our food was served Luke warm, and one person in our group was served apple juice at room temperature…. I originally intended on leaving 3 stars until I got my check. To my surprise, AFTER taking and charging my card, the bill comes back with a “card service fee” added on. So on top of below average food, I feel I was ripped off. NO WHERE ON THE MENU DOES IT SAY PAYING WITH A CARD COSTS ADDITIONAL. The waitress also never pointed this out when collecting our payment. Raise your menu prices instead of adding a ridiculous hidden fee, or go to cash-only.

GREAT! Service was very warm and welcoming. The food was done just right and my server catered to any changes I needed make or add. Great value as well. Will definitely be visiting there when next I'm in town.

So glad we found this place. A real authentic Greek diner. The gyro salad was absolutely the best I've ever had. Great service and the owner came over to make sure everything was good. Hubs had the philly, that was great too. Wish we loved closer the breakfast menu looks amazing! Will be back

Little wait time, great service, delicious breakfast! Looked like they had some alcoholic selections for brunch as well. Overall, very happy with meal and service. Would return.

I once had this restaurant as 5 stars, but it's declined over the years. Pickup orders are not ready even after the staff marked them as ready for pick up, the last meal I got was wrong, and the biscuit was hard as a rock.

I'm really disappointed by my most recent experience and will probably not return.

Had a taco salad, and hubby had fish sandwich and frys. Really was good. Nothing fancy but cute and comfy diner with good food and portions!

Sundays are clearly a busy day for you guys but nevertheless, the service was outstanding. Food came quickly, the staff made sure we were tended to and comfortable every step of the way. The food was delicious! Very casual, kinda wish there was outdoor seating but it was great!

This is probably the best keep secret for a restaurant in the inner Tampa area. Don't let the outside determine your decision for going inside, because once you go inside and try the outstanding breakfast items, you will gladly say to yourself, I am glad I came inside to have breakfast. The breakfast potions that they give you is really too much for one person, and for the reasonable price is another reason you should visit this Diner. There is a sign on the outside of the bldg stating "Voted Best Diner In Tampa", and I agree that their breakfast lives up to that claim. I would strongly recommend Mamas Kitchen for all to visit.

So yesterday we ate the most delicious food oh my god it was off the chain the cook was spot on with the flavor and the waitress was on top of anything we needed the quality of food for the price was awesome. You guys Rock

Was there this morning. Waitress was very attentive. Food was so good. Prices were more than fair for the amount of food you get. I had a Ham, Onion and Sausage Omlete with American and Provolone and grits. Biscuits and Gravy and French toast with Bacon. Hard to find good grits. I found them here. Omlete was fluffy and they sure didn't skimp on the portion size of the add ons. French toast was also delicious. Perfect amount of cinnamon. Biscuits and Gravy were well seasoned so I didn't have to add salt and pepper. Will definitely be back soon!

Great food for a breakfast/brunch. Seating was a bit limited, but the staff was very friendly and we had a great experience!
