Food is great with large portions, some days service needs help, floor supervisor would solve problem as to much visiting with help goes on.
Each time we come in from Texas to visit family we have big breakfasts here. We usually buy empanadas to take home too. I picked up 50 empanadas today for a Swingholm family reunion. Yum.
I knew Mombos had very good lunch specials during the week, but I hadn't tried the breakfast yet. Anyway on January 1 2020 we stopped in for breakfast and took advantage of the great food at a fabulous price steak eggs and Cuban toast with Cuban coffee at $6.95, how can you beat that? Great taste great price how much more can you ask for.
We had the eggs special. Three eggs bacon Cuban toast. 13$ for 2 with coffee. This place is quick for sit down. Remember this is a QUBAN restaurant. They do things differently. Food is always acceptable. The bacon is deep fried. Eggs are steamed. The help is great at the order but almost never checksback to refill. Never understand it. Water or coffee!
Everything you would want in a neighborhood restaurant. Attractive surroundings, friendly staff, good selection of delicious food, and low prices. Entrees and sides are tasty and plentiful. Best Cuban restaurant in the area, in our opinion. Highly recommended. Just off the Cape Coral bridge on Del Prado. Spend the $2. It's worth it.

We had a wonderful brunch I liked everything we had. I had two empanadas and eggs with maduro. I recommend this restaurant for a good Cuban meal.
They didn't know what a devil crab was which is one of the most popular Cuban items in Tampa other than the Cuban sandwich there sandwich was delicious they're stuffed potatoes had almost no stuffing in them
Cuban sandwich was awful. I am Cuban and had never had a Cuban sandwich without pork. Bad service as well. El peor restaurante Cubano que he visto. Mal servicio y el peor sandwich cubano que he comido. Mesera muy grocera.
Rice was hard, bistec palomia was crazy salty.inedible? Vaca frita super dry and salty. Tasted like it was cooked a couple days ago. Very disappointing.
My family and I love coming here. Everyone is so kind and the food is great but nothing beats the coffee! Rose is the BEST!
Truly homemade taste. Food is always consistent. Great portions. Love the ropa vieja with black beans and rice! The mango milkshakes are great!
