Mamey Miami, Coral Gables FL

Mamey is pretty hidden! Secluded and delicious. Many photo ops. My husband ordered the MOJO chicken (he is EXTREMELY PICKY) and he loved it! I order the Lemongrass Glazed Grouper Thai curry and it was absolutely delicious!
IF you like simple (ish) order the chicken, if you like loads of flavor (and fish) order the Grouper! Aside from our entrée, I order two drinks (lychee and spritz) and both were delicious. I highly recommend this for date night!

Let me just start by saying I am a born and raised floridian from swfl. I have been spearfishing and cooking same day caught grouper for many years, and the lemongrass glazed grouper is the best grouper I've ever had at a restaurant. Fantastic service and atmosphere as well. I will definitely be dining here again. My compliments to the chef!

My husband and I came to celebrate Father’s Day early they seated us and never came to serve us. We waited for 45 mins before saying anything. We also noticed 5 parties that came after us was already eating.

Mamey is a very cozy rooftop, and we loved the live music. The food and drinks overall were OK, so normally this would have been a 4 star review. However, the services was simply awful. The waitress was MIA for most of our time there, and she forgot to put in our food order. After one hour, I had to go to the bar and ask where the food was. The food came 30 min later. I would come back for a proper dinner in the future if it were not for the poor service.

Honestly not bad, the entrees were decently sized. Didn’t order appetizers though, they were super small portioned smh. I gave 5 stars for show to increase the average rating (I’m a nice guy) but I want to give my real thoughts with this description. Not a horrible place but I wouldn’t want to go back again. I give 5 stars for show but my true rating I’d say 2.5/5

Though we only tried the rooftop, food was great. We will def. Come back for the restaurant.

Very Nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the mussels.

It's absolutely incredible! The staff treats u like family. I loved it! I definitely recommend it! The food, omg the FOOD! Oooolala and the bartender made the BEST whiskey sours!

Every dish we had was phenomenal. Conch fritters, short rib empanadas, lamb ribs, plantains and omg…. The TRUFFLE & BRIE GRILLED CHEESE. Trust me…RUN, don’t walk. You will not be sorry. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Small portions that don’t even taste that good. Was disappointed with the overall experience. The short rib empanadas taste like anything you can get at a bakery for 1/5 the price.

Also, live music Thursday - Sunday at the 3rd floor roof top bar. Jamaican rum cake and truffle and brie grilled cheese are not to be missed!

One of my personal favorite restaurants in Miami. Food is unique tasting and spectacular. Drinks are fire and the staff is very nice and friendly. The place gets busy so make a reservation and enjoy!
