I finally found a corner of Italy, the real one, where the heart and passion for cooking, for the customer and for the simplicity of the FLAVORS come together in two people: Federica, the owner and her mother, EXCELLENT COOK. You can't help but try and try again her meatballs and pasta, always SPECIAL. As an Italian, as a chef, I RECOMMEND this small, but at the same time large, ITALIAN CORNER, in Wilton Manors.

Nice venue in Wilton Manors. Friendly staff. Food is definitely better than other Italian restaurants in Wilton Manors. I definitely recommend the Gnocchi. Will give it a second try

We came with a group of 6, excellent food, excellent dessert, excellent wine and the service was exceptional. Francisca is the best!

We totally enjoyed our time and especially the food at this place. The Italian touch that mamma puts into the food makes it unique and special. Not being a total red sauce and pasta, I was totally surprised and amazed at the taste. Extremely delicious. Super sweet people. Enjoy all!

Wow! Just wow! Unbelievable experience, from the cozy ambiance, to the food! Centrally located in Wilton Manors right on the drive! The owners are the sweetest. We received a warm “hello! ” from mother & daughter when we walked in the door. Everything was made fresh and the presentation was beautiful!

Mama Mia is ian amazing addition to Wilton Drive. It’s atmosphere and classic Italian food is just that, classic.
Dine out and enjoy the 2 wonderful woman of this establishment. In fact it is the only true Italian Resturent on Wilton drive. The mother daughter team gives u a sense of home, Italy and for me NYC,

Great food and great service. Federica and her mom are AMAZING, they make you feel like you’re home. Food is phenomenal. We enjoyed having dinner here and love supporting family businesses. Please make sure you get the Tiramisu and Gelato (BEST IN TOWN). We’ll be definitely coming back.

The food here is delicious. Very authentic Italiano food. Mamma even came from the kitchen to make sure we enjoyed it. Deeeeeeelish

OMG! This place is as insanely incredible. The mother/chef is AMAZING. This is authentic homemade Italian food. I have never tasted Italian food like this before! The flavors were so rich and full. The daughter/waitress is also celiac so they are able to make many gluten free options! I had the tomatoes and potatoes soup and the gluten free chicken parmigiana. My besties had gluten free fetuchini with pesto sauce. They also had gluten free bread! I wish we had tried this place earlier in our vacay bc we would have eaten here multiple times! This was the absolute BEST Italian food I have ever had and I was even able to give mamma a hug for her incredible gift of cooking that she is sharing with the world. Anytime I’m in the Wilton Manors area I will be eating here.

Lasagne out of microwave with dry/hard pasta and Bolognese has only the name of Bolognese but nothing to do with a real Bolognese sauce. Too too liquid. Price way too high for that. But the Ambiente is nice.

Great Mom and Daughter run restaurant. Excellent food, but $8.00 for a small side dish of pasta is a bit pricey.

Experience was poor. I ordered a daily special and the pasta was so over seasoned with lemon it had actual chunks of lemon grind in the dish. I did not eat more than a bite and The waitress still charged me $26 for the meal and did not offer to remove the item from my bill after I told her it was horrible. Poor customer service and I will not be going back or recommending this establishment to my many visitors.

Update 3/6/23: since this owner likes to clap back to her reviews. I was not given a “gift card” I was Rudely handed a dirty and greasy laminated $8 off coupon with no offer to refund. As a piece of advice You should work on your customer service and tone if you plan on staying in business in the Wilton Manors area.

We had an amazing dining experience! Food was exceptional and wine was delicious. Service was great - Mama herself came out of the kitchen to greet us and to make sure the meals were to our satisfaction. Our waitress Frederica (Mama’s daughter) was so sweet and took time with us to explain all of the menu options and specials.
We will definitely be back!

I recently tried Mamma Mia‘s restaurant. I tried the spaghetti Bolognese. Actually, I asked for spaghetti, which was good, not enough meat. I mentioned it and they brought more meat sauce. The staff was wonderful. My first complaint with the seats had no cushions actually, the food was under seasoned. I won’t give up. I’ll try it again.
