Mari Rivera, MD, Winter Park FL

I first saw Dr. Rivera two years ago for severe abdominal pain, reflux, and nausea that I was in and out of the ER with. I was told she would not order labs until I sent her records from my previous labs with a different doctor. I called to follow up multiple times and was ultimately ignored by her office, and never heard back. I tried to see her again recently, and she cancelled my appointment a week prior because I'd sought a second opinion during those two years. I can't comment on how well she treats patients because she simply doesn't, as far as I'm aware.

I’ve already been on hold for 30 minutes after Rep took my name, DOB, and address. He said he was getting a coordinator to schedule my appointment. I’m a new patient, I’m already NOT happy with the service!

DON'T RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AND SERVICE. Dr. Rivera doesn't really care about her patients, she will reschedule your appointment as many times she wants without considering your health situation having you wait for at least 3-4 months. Also she won't even take the time to see you in person, she will send her PA to take notes and then consult with her which is not what a patient wants when you want to see a SPECIALIST to address your health issue. Her staff is very disrespectful and rude.

I saw this doctor a while back, because of family emergencies, I wasn’t able to go back for a while. When I tried making the appointment I was told that the Dr stated that I needed to see another Dr. No reason as of why just she will not see me. Very disappointed since on the first visit I believe I was in good hands.
