Maria Pimentel, MD, Clearwater FL

Dr. Maria is by far the best doctor and surgent and I had pleasure to be her patient. Highly risky pregnancy, first child, 39yo, and thanks to her care, c-section that barely left a scar, not to mention my perfecr health since then (8 years ago) are the reason I am writing this. I got perfectly healthy son that is about to turn 9. For every woman out there, warmly recomnding dr. Maria and the fantastic woman care (super crew)

Worst experience delivering my daughter 2 years ago. Endangered both mine and my duaghters life. Luckily the nurses at the delivery hospital and on call hospitalist were amazing. The charge nurse should never have to yell at an MD to make a call for an emergency c-section while the MD cowers in the corner after making a bad call to break my water after 3 days of induction and me being less than 32 weeks (pre-eclampsia/help syndrome). Would never recommend to anyone.

I was the most ridiculous appoinnent schedule, the doctor couldn't see me because I arrived 5 mts after my appointment without having nobody in the waiting room.

Not happy with the staff of this place, my recommendation to you is to seek another obgyn office. The worst experience of my life and I ended up in the hospital for it.

Good OB-GYN, sure. But if you suffer from something like Endometriosis, and don't have a simple cyst, don't expect her to refer you to someone that can take a deeper look, discuss excision with you, or pelvic floor therapy / your options. You'll be told if it gives you bladder pains that you have a UTI and it's not their problem, rather than be referred to any specialist. Remember, doctors work for you. You pay them. So make sure they discuss ALL options with you and go above and beyond to HELP you find a resource if they are not that resource.

Dr. Pimentel was so kind and compassionate. She listened to all of my issues and was very informative. She spent as much time with me as needed and I am lucky to be a patient of hers!

I've been going to Dr Pimentel for many years now. She is professional and takes time to ask about my and my family well being. I have been lucky that my appointments are usually on time. I guess no babies to deliver on those days.
