Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Downtown Sarasota campus reviews
16Love the orchids! Could display three times as many orchids and it would never be too much. Nice grounds with banyan trees and stag horn ferns
We really enjoyed the indoor aerialist tie in to the Ringling Brothers with historic memorabilia displayed with many different types of orchids! The outdoor gardens with seaside views were also gorgeous.
Beautiful place, Although I think 20.00 admission is a little high for entry. The parking lot was all ripped up so my elderly mother and nana had to hoof it just to get in. Really think they ought to offer a golf cart shuttle from the lot for some older folk.
It would be too less to say that our experience at MS Botanical Gardens was great! Such a wonderful, amazing, fun getaway in the middle of Sarasota downtown! Peaceful and perfect place to spend your day! Tickets were $20 each for adults but on our way out my husband and I decided to pay $60 more for annual membership which gives both of access to the gardens for a year plus we can have up to two guests with us and they would pay only $10 per ticket each! If you are visiting Sarasota make sure you check these gardens out! You won’t regret it!
Gorgeous. Pricey, but pretty. They're working on reciprocal agreements with some of the other regional gardens, so that might help in the future.
Great collection of epiphytes and palms.
I the intention behind the gardens.to 'share with the general public'. It's true not everyone is able to manage the entry fee at $20 therefore I suspect a large portion of the general public will not get the pleasure I was able to enjoy.
Gorgeous landscape. Clever theme displays. Just the right size for an hour to hour and a half experience.
Beautiful experience.fun exhibit.wish we had more time. At 20 entry seemed a wee bit pricey for park of its kind but lovely, peaceful attraction.
I was on a mini vacation in Florida visiting my daughter and she took me here. It's the prettiest place I've seen in a while.
Yes. If you're in the area and like Barnam and Beiley's Circus and Orchids, this is a place to relax and take an adventurous stroll through. We loved it!
This is a great place for people and families of all ages. Membership is about $100 per year for couple and includes admission to summer outdoor music under the banyan trees. Delightful! Last week was 2 hr motown.music. Incredible!
Beautiful grounds with stunning gardens and ocean views. Perfect place to spend an afternoon or for your next big event. Highly attentive staff.
Just an awesome place to wander through various plant habitats. Well worth the price of admission.
Beautiful location with beautiful view of bay area around Sarasota. Grounds are well maintained. I look forward to returning once renovations have taken place.
Orchid show was quite nice and unexpected. We would like to see gardens at night with all the Christmas lights.
This is a beautiful and relaxing botanical garden. It is extremely well upkept with exciting new exihibits or flowers blooming every time I visit. I highly recommend buying a season pass!
Beautiful botanic garden. They are getting ready for the light display, and I plan to get back to see it!
