Marina Bar & Grill reviews
16First time and really enjoyed it. Friday lunch.weather was beautiful, food was good. Overall a very good experience.
Gated access to the resort. Open to public and nice location at the marina. Shade. Good food, we had the calamari and fish tacos. Dog friendly too.
We got in late from a 10 hour drive. They closed in 35 min. Even with it busy, we got good service and food quickly and had a good evening without feeling rushed.
I have been coming here for over 4 years now and this place made me fall in love with San Destin. The atmosphere with the locals has always made this bar magnificent. However, this bar is clearly under new management and it’s so sad to see what has happened. We’re receiving significantly degraded food quality for a more expensive price and the drink prices are significantly increased. This bar has clearly favored a P&L statement over the people that have been loyal to this bar and I guarantee it reflects in their bottom line. Everyone I speak to that all live here do NOT recommend this place anymore.
The fried grouper was great. We had it 3 different dishes all fried. It was not greasy, and the food came out hot. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I had. Also, portions were great. The only downfall was no indoor seating. Would come back.
Very good food! The best mahi mahi tacos I’ve ever had! The coconut shrimp was also delicious.
Great service Tiffany the service was wonderful to the family, and had told us about Prime rib special the night before. Food was great and atmosphere was great! We will be coming back again on our next vacation!
The beach was way overcrowded I couldn't stay long because of the crowd
The food was good but the service quality wasn't that great
The resort we say they're the room was very nice and clean
But the elevators took forever being that there were only two and there was 20 floors we were on the 15th floor
I really couldn't go out on the balcony because it was very narrow and I didn't feel safe I feel like they should made the balconies a little wider
Other than that I did enjoy myself, the native people that were there were very friendly and spoke but visitors were not friendly at all. I don't know why I expect them to be but it is what it is but I had a great time in spite of the little things
Was impressed with the variety on the menu and the pricing. Not a tourist trap like on the other side of the Waterway. Nice twist and creativity to the menu. Must have the hush puppies with the strawberry butter. That might be a little that the rest of the menu is good as well. I definitely stop if you're going my boat and a local following that arrives by car.
First time, it was more than I expected about food quality, Kale or Cale is amazing with her service, we ordered 17 dishes ate them all without taking a single photo, when in Destin this is a must to go place
The view’s great, but that’s about it. The Grouper was maybe the worst I’ve ever had, and made us sick… incredibly sad looking food for the price.
Service was slow and unfriendly. It’s “seat yourself”, but hard to get any server to come take your order. Took 20-30 minutes just to get our check after we asked.
Also they have a parrot chained to the front entryway, baking in the sun. Not sure what all these stellar reviews are for?
This is my go-to spot for a quick meal with a good atmosphere. They several TV'S for the sport fan's.
Great food and views. You can sit on the dock right at the waters edge as the waves hit the small beach just inches away. Fresh catch of the day is being cleaned just on the edge of the restaurant. The blackened grouper house salad is great with the citrus vinigrette. There is a back pier walkway to the warf area.
Excellent! I have to say, I had been a couple times in the past and didn’t care to go back, but had heard they had cleaned house and had new management, so I decided to give it another shot & I have to say it was amazing!
Service was great, food was hot, fresh, & delicious, & the sunset views are amazing!
I’ll definitely be back soon!
COVID 19 was hard for the restaurant industry and the last 3 years were awful for wait time, service excellence and food quality.
THIS year, however, the team turned it around! Veronica, MacKenzie (sp?) and the support team all were speedy, friendly and the food was good. It made our sunset dinners a relaxing event and they even brought our pup some water
Thank you all for great evenings especially for MacKenzie's tip for no-see-ums! Dip a paper towel in a shot of gin. Rub it on your exposed skin and by God it did the trick.and no alcohol smell either
