16Salesman Sean was very pushy and amateurish. He was uncomfortably intrusive asking about personal, private, non relevant information that had nothing to do with my making a purchase. He lost the sale due to his 'begging'. I will buy my boat somewhere else.
Called today to request service for my still under warranty Sea Ray Sundeck with an electrical problem and won’t start. They told me no appointments for 6-8 weeks.
Could not be happier. Marlie Bogdon was our sales consultant and we are 100% confidant in his knowledge and advice. We are coming back!
I bought a 2021 Aviara boat from Marine Max one of the engines went the first month with three hours on the boat and we had to get towed in from from Biscayne Boulevard. Marine Max fixed it pretty quickly for me after I complained weekly. Also all my drawers are loose and I’m waiting for one drawer to be replaced for six months. Not acceptable on a brand new vessel. I’m so disappointed in this boat It is a great boat and looks beautiful but so far everything is loose I’m still not happy with the service on this boat and the performance for a 2021 brand new boat that they can’t even fix the drawers very disappointing in aviaras craftsmanship I don’t recommend his boat. Would never purchase Aviara again.
The best experience ever buying a boat or even a car, they are very professional. They know what they are doing, not aggressive and really kind since the moment you walk in. Sean Doyle and Matt Cappiello helped me with buying my boat, they are exceptional, it was a pleasure working with them.

Try calling them on the phone, if some one answers your lucky.then if you can acutally get anything done or organized its 1 in a million.
Who ever runs there customer service department needs to go.horrible horrible service nothing bit problems.

Did not start out well. Ended very well.
Bought brand new Sea Ray at MarineMax. Only a year and a half old. 130 hours. Joystick use triggers alarm then steering seized up so boat was uncontrollable. We call for service 11 times and get sent to a voicemail that nobody returns. Finally someone calls and we get told nobody can see the boat for six weeks. "We're just so busy. " Sorry. Not our problem. Hire more service people then. Then boat sits in their yard for two more months. We get the boat back and the EXACT same problem happens every time we use the joystick. No change whatsoever.oh except now the stereo doesn't work. So now it's just a big expensive hunk of fiberglass and metal that sits on our lift. Our neighbors who bought a new boat from MarineMax had a very similar experience.
P. S. Richard is an absolute gem and the best person working there. He has been great.
BUT IN THE END. They sent someone out. They fixed everything. Now we are happy again.
Super helpful and attentive, they explained everything well. My boyfriend ended up buying a new boat there. The salesman is wonderful and is great at keeping you up to date with details of the sales, and promptly answers emails.

I've known Tyler Hill since June of 2011 and it's been all good. I have found Tyler to be a complete gentleman. He's always straight forward, honest, and down to earth.

Me and my family were looking for a boat and we went to this boat dealer as an option. The customer service helped us look at some pretty good boats but we haven't found any that we like so far. But it's a pretty good boat dealer go check it out.
This location is widely known in Fort Lauderdale for poor and questionable service. How they have a high rating is equally questionable. We purchased a boat after many neighbors advised against it and now we have an inoperable boat with many many excuses as to why. Their sales team is great pulling you in but go somewhere else for service and expect a lemon. Even when purchasing brand new, which is what we did.
Pretty upset. In April I brought my Mercury inflatable in for warranty repair, as well as some repairs I agreed I would pay for if they were not covered, a leak in one of the tubes and replace the drain plug/valve. I called the dealer Max Marine in Pompino Fl several times over the 2 and a half weeks they had the boat and was told the repairs were only half complete. When we did pick up the inflatable we were told Mercury would not warranty any repairs and did not even fix the items I said I would pay for. I was led on for 2 and a half weeks they were repairing the boat when they did absolutely nothing. I drove 2.5 hrs each way, rented a truck and payed for a dock and got nothing for it. Maybe if it was a half million dollar boat they would not have wasted my time and money.
