I am Carmen Lamoso and I am a Jehovah's Witness resident of Bartow, Florida. I was and will be a patient of Dr. Mario John - orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital in Lakeland, Fl. I had my left hip replaced on December 7,2023, excellent, very professional. Thank Jehovah for having a Hospital Liaison Committee in the congregation, Dr. John is on that list of doctors who operate without blood. Dr. John understands, knows and respects the procedures of what to do when operating without blood and when there is an emergency. I told him “whatever it is, I am going to be loyal to Jehovah” and he told me “it is very important. ” His team and the anesthesiologist are professionals and also respect no blood transfusions. Even Lakeland Hospital also respects no blood transfusions without any problem. We know that Jehovah uses people to care for his servants. The day of the surgery I felt a little nervous but very calm, they gave me the confidence that they would respect my blood, no matter what happened. Thank Jehovah everything went very well, I was in good hands. They gave me therapy before the surgery during my stay in the hospital and at my house they also sent me a walker all sent by Dr. John. I started walking that same day at night with a walker without pain. Thanks to the therapies, I continued walking, then with a cane, and without anything, I'm already doing it (1-22-2024) I no longer feel the pain I had before going to surgery. Now I can do my things, thanks to Jehovah and Dr. John.

Your confident demeanor and simple explanation of the procedure was really helpful and you patiently answered my many questions. Soon after, you operated on both my right and left hips using the Anterior approach and I am now pain free. Both surgeries were flawless and I am in awe of how much better my quality of life is. Not only are you a wonderful doctor but such a caring person too. I am thrilled to know you and so happy you are my doctor. I absolutely recommend you see Dr. John for care! He will help you. The office staff are very helpful and friendly too.

Dr John performed a total left knee replacement for me. I couldn’t ask for a
Dr who was more skilled or more concerned for his patients than Dr John. If you are considering a knee replacement you really should check out Dr John.

I would like to share this hot and juicy information about the one and only Dr. Mario John. Dr. John, did a total left hip replacement on August 31,2023. I have never had an experience of such after having both knees replaced. Dr. John was such a personal doctor. He didn’t only care about his work that he had performed, but he cared about the well-being, and the mental stability of his patient, that goes a long ways not one time did I have to sit long and wait to be called upon and did not wait very long to see him. He had time for all of your questions and concerns that he never rushed you. My pardoning words is hats off Dr. John, and keep on doing an extra ordinary job.

After 3 years of pain and limited mobility. I would like to thank Dr. John Mario for giving me my life back. 6 weeks ago he reassured me he would take good care of me prior to surgery. His bedside manner and time he takes to explain the procedure were so much appreciated. He preformed the anterior approach total right hip replacement. I highly recommend Dr. John to anyone who may need a hip replacement. He is a very talented and compassionate doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. John! I had my right hip replaced on 9/5 and I couldn’t be happier! I was so nervous the week before but he made the whole process calming. The pain was at minimum and I feel like I have my life back. Will be returning for the left side soon.

I had been waiting more than 5 years and went to many different Doctors and many different diagnoses.
Dr John found the problem and did a total hip replacement with the anterior method. I am pain free and walking great.
I had my left hip done previously by a different Dr by the posterior method and although it is better now, that method was a much longer recovery.
I would highly recommend Dr John to everyone!

My mother's experience was very good. Taking into account his profound knowledge of Medicine, She did not experience pain. She is a very nervous person. He always had a moment to put her at ease. Doctors should have moment to practice good bedside manner. God Bless Him!

What a great experience! I love this Dr.already. He was thorough but quick. His assistant Dustin was equally as knowledgeable and thorough, Mom is going back IF she needs to. The nurse was in quickly to draw up the injection and it was over. They make you want to stay and chat.have a glass of tea.relax. Todays drs are too busy and in a big hurry. Not Dr. John. Have always had a great experience with Dr john. He's not orthopedic doctor and knows exactly what to do. We've only lived here a year and was kind of scary find a new doctor's but we fit right in at grasslands doctors they are just all wonderful

Dr. John is not only professional, but personal. As a healthy, ty Lord, 70 year old, I was having difficulties with a particular area of sore and uncomfortable muscles that were achy and annoying. The exercises and encouragement he provided made a difference from my last visit to this one! Thank you Dr John!

We cannot say enough good things about Dr John! My mother is a patient of his for hip surgeries, and I can say with absolute confidence that he has gone above and beyond to ensure my mother's successful recovery throughout her surgeries. Her first hip replacement under Dr Crank was a complete mess. But, Dr John was able to correct to the best of his abilities the mess that Dr Crank left her in. I will be forever grateful to Dr John!

Doctor Mario John is an incredible doctor and human being. When my husband broke his femur involving his artificial hip Doctor John did the complicated operation and we always knew we were in excellent hands under his care. A very caring and talented man who genuinely wants to help people.

First time visit and I felt happy I did came an hour ride to be seen by an excellent doctor. The staff is also very nice.
I'm a retired nurse and I know what a pte need to hear from that first consultation. He didn't talk about surgery as a first option. And I know later on I might need to, but he explained the options and we are working on them.
