I recently visited Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery to order a birthday cake for my niece, and unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. The customer service was simply horrible - the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful from the moment I walked in, and they barely acknowledged my presence or my order.

But the real disappointment came when we tried the cake. It was simply unpalatable. The frosting tasted stale and artificial, and the cake itself was dry and flavorless. It was nothing like the delicious cupcakes and ice cream I had tried at Marlee's before, so I was really surprised and disappointed.

Overall, my experience at Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery was like being served a dish of freezer-burnt ice cream on a hot summer day - a total letdown. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values good customer service and tasty desserts.

I recently had the misfortune of ordering a cake from Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery for my sister's 21st birthday, and I must say, it was a terrible experience from start to finish.

Firstly, the cake was overpriced, and the quality was extremely underwhelming. It tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days, with a dry and stale texture that was not even close to what we were expecting.

To make matters worse, the service we received was abysmal. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, seeming almost annoyed that we were there. We felt like we were a burden to them, and they did not seem to care about our experience or satisfaction in the slightest.

But the worst part of it all was how sick the cake made me feel. I don't know if it was old or if something was wrong with the ingredients, but I ended up with a terrible stomachache that lasted for hours. It was a horrible way to end what should have been a special day.

Overall, I would not recommend Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery to anyone. Their overpriced, underwhelming cakes, combined with terrible service and the risk of getting sick, make them a truly terrible choice for anyone looking for a dessert or cake. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

As someone who was eagerly looking forward to my sister's 21st birthday party, I was devastated when Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery failed to deliver on their promises. Not only did their customer support leave a lot to be desired, but their cake was disgustingly unpalatable, turning what should have been a sweet celebration into a bitter disappointment. It was incredibly frustrating to be left hanging, anxiously waiting for their response, which never came. Their lack of communication and responsiveness was akin to a cake without any icing - incomplete and unsatisfactory.

To start with, if any individual wants to stay in business, customer retention should be a priority, especially dealing with new customers who are just getting their beaks wet by taking a leap of faith into a new business.

GASTROINTESTINAL ARMAGEDDON - this is the best way to describe what happened after I consumed this cake that looked too good to eat. It came across as a stock photo cake that you should keep on display for people to window shop. I might as well of just opened a stick of Kerrygold butter and stuck a candle inside of it and wished my sibling a Happy 21st birthday.

The cake was dry and tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer for weeks. The texture was crumbly and unpleasant, and the flavors were bland and generic, lacking the rich, decadent taste that we were expecting. It was like a cake-shaped disappointment, a sad excuse for a celebratory dessert.

To make matters worse, the cake left an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered in our mouths, leaving us with a sour impression of the entire party. It was as if the cake had turned into a regrettable memory that we would rather forget. It's a shame that a cake, which should have been the centerpiece of the celebration, ended up being a tasteless and disappointing flop.

The lack of reliable customer support and the disgustingly tasteless cake was a major letdown for my sister's 21st birthday party. It was a complete disservice to both the occasion and the guests, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths - and not in a good way. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a cake that lives up to its promises and actually tastes like a celebration!

You don't pay the plumber to bang on the pipes, you pay the plumber to know where to bang. I wish that was the case for this establishment's craft that specializes in baking "extraordinary" cakes for memorable events.

I had high hopes for Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery, but it fell apart faster than a poorly built Lego tower. The cake was so stale, it could have doubled as a paperweight, and it tasted like it had been sitting in a museum for a decade. The staff was about as helpful as a broken umbrella in a thunderstorm. Do yourself a favor and skip this bakery like a stone across a pond.

To say the worst place would be an understatement considering not only was my daughters 21st birthday embarrassing that we even served that garbage to guests, but few of us got sick. Compare it to opening a stick of butter and biting into it. The cake was dry but hey they got their $170 for scamming us. A good business owner calls a customer back and doesn’t ignore the calls, but we aren’t dealing with good business owners or good people. The word is out there how disgusting you are handling this matter. If I could give zero, I would. Doesn’t that cake look beautiful? Their pictures look great but the quality and customer service is much to be desired. Lesson learned

Marlee’s has the best ice cream, cup cakes, and custom cakes in town! Aesthetically, our cake was above and beyond what was expected and tasted amazing too! The service has always been stellar, we will be regulars for a long time.

Am I a fake account as well? I can assure you each of those reviews are from real people. You go out of your way to discredit them but not make it right? Not a good look for a business. Good luck on your future endeavors.

Firstly, the customer service was terrible. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, and it took a long time to place my order. It felt like they had better things to do than to serve customers, which is a huge turn-off.

The terrible customer service and the bad cake were both huge disappointments. It's a shame that such a supposedly "premium" bakery could fail so spectacularly on both counts. look elsewhere for a cake that lives up to its promises and actually tastes good! My mom should’ve went to publix, they never disappoint and at least fix the problem. Happy 21 to me!

When I first laid eyes on the cake from Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery, I was impressed by how stunning it looked. It was decorated with intricate frosting designs and looked like a work of art. I couldn't wait to dig in and taste the delicious flavors that were promised. Unfortunately, the moment I took a bite, it was like a slap in the face from a wet fish. The cake was dry and flavorless, like eating a cardboard box with a side of disappointment. The frosting was sickly sweet, like a lollipop that had been left in the sun for too long.

As if the taste wasn't bad enough, the cake left me feeling like I had just eaten a bag of rocks. I felt sick to my stomach and had to lay down for hours just to recover. I wouldn't recommend Marlee's Cupcakery & Creamery to my worst enemy. The cake was a disaster, like a fireworks show in a thunderstorm, and the experience was a complete letdown, like a bad blind date. Save yourself the trouble and find a bakery that doesn't make you regret your decision to indulge in something sweet.

Not one to complain but spending $170 on a cake I’m sorry to do this but the cream tasted like pure butter out of the package no taste, actually made us nauseous. The cake part had no flavor and was dry. Not happy at all.was my daughters 21st birthday couldn’t wait for her to see her cake. So disappointed didn’t eat it. Was Beautiful on the outside though, I’m sorry but I needed to be honest with you, hope you make it right for what you charged. Fake profile? Is that why your cake is pictured below? Do you want a copy of the receipt too? I can supply that as well. The fact that you don’t return calls speaks in volumes as well. Horrible business etiquette.

Just picked up a couple cupcakes and got my son blue Cookie Monster ice cream and all of it was really good. The person at the front was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Extremely rude employees. Two young girls who looked me up and down, and made me feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend it at all!

Delicious, beautiful and perfectly fresh cupcakes. They definitely use quality ingredients. The texture of the cupcakes is light, not dense and the frosting is excellent, not bitter. Overall the taste is delicious and it’s my opinion that they are the best in Boca Raton. My experience with the employees have been positive and pleasant.

Walked in just now and was not greeted by the two teenagers behind the counter. My family and I were trying to pick out cupcakes for someone's birthday and we just left because they were not friendly AT ALL, nor were they helpful. If I could give 0 stars I would:)

At 3 pm on 12/23/22, I pointed to the cupcake with marshmallows on it. I said the one with the marshmallows to the female employee. There was a tiny sign in front of it that said hazelnut, so I thought it was named that. The cashier acted like she wanted to be anywhere else, but there.

Cashier brings out the wrong cupcake that didn’t have marshmallows on it, but looked similar.

I told her it was wrong and if she can replace it. She said no refunds or replacement. She said I can only get the one I wanted if I spent another $4. Bad customer service.

I ordered one cupcake to taste test for a future large order for my bridal party and subsequential wedding. Sadly, I will be taking my business elsewhere. If the female employee had been more attentive to customers, the owner would have made a large future order.

Very small cake for the price, not good at all just too tall and no filling, over all very bad experience.
Employees were very rude.
