So so dissapointed! Really hate to post negative things, but i feel we wasted our money and pretty upset about it and if the owners care, they will fix tgese issues.
It started with the service. Waitress did not even pour water (just placed the bottle on our table), didnt give new plates, forgot to bring water to begin with, not sure she understands English.
But now about the food - we ordered hummus and it usually comes with nice soft pita bread - the bread came in dried up, as it it was reheated from earlier, we told her about it and she took that plate from us, she stood there, touched it with her hands as if to make sure she agreed or didnt believe us. She finally Left and brought back (relatively fast) a new plate of pita bread, just a little softer this time, but very very poor taste/quality.

We ordered a very expensive Kebab Mix Grill and although the chicken and shrimp were good texture. (but I didnt even taste salt or pepper), the beef and kafta were the most bland meat EVER.like so so not worth the money $$! And now about the rice. You'd expect the rice to be delicious, two out of three plates, the rice was not EVEN hot, it was dry too but maybe it's always like that.we just expected so much from such a charming interior.what a shame and i feel we wasted our money.

I have not been to this restaurant in about 10 years and figured I would go back as I used to love it. The entire menu has been changed. Nobody was in the restaurant. The food came out and it was cold. I told the waitress, and she told me it was impossible and walked away. I would never go back. I’m very disappointed.

The attention of the waitresses was terrible, they do not speak English and they do not understand what we ordered on the menu in Spanish. I went with my family to celebrate my birthday for belly dancing and eat well, but what a terrible attention. The only thing that except the night was the ballerina, we never go back there again

We came to this hidden gem in Coral Gables early night (7: 30pm) just before it got full. The food was good, they offer 2 types of pita bread as starters, the traditional version was good but we loved the fried one.

Then we got some falafel (good) and grape leaves (so so, little mushy). We finalized with the shawarma which was really tasty and bigger than expected including the fried pita bread, traditional rice and salad. We were full so couldn't order more.

The night had a nice highlight with live performance of typical dances that took the whole atmosphere to the next level. We'll certainly come back to try the kibeh, some kebabs and to watch the show again.

I have very mixed feelings, because this used to be one of my favorite places for Lebanese food, but later the experience wasn’t good.

-Same nice decoration, but the host and service was mediocre and slow, although the place was almost empty. I even have to ask for regular water, because they abandoned us in the table for long time.

-There is a ring bell from the restaurante phone sounding really loud the whole time, no one in the front desk answering! I don’t understand how that is posible in a restaurant, with a beautiful ambience that it’s supposed transporting you to the Middle East.

-Now about the food: They do not have lamb anymore, or at least the last two times that I went. The quality of the steak kebabs wasn’t good like before. Even though my boyfriend likes his stew and the lentil soup was really good. I said no olives in the salad and they came with olives. Rice was ok but I think is not the same quality than years ago. Salad dressing was great and the drinks (mint lemonade and yogurt) It’s pricey and the gratuity is included, so there is no justification for the service and mediocre food.

I think this was my last try in Maroosh. I hope they can be back on track, they did great years ago.

PD: Delivery service was critical too. Maybe they have some issue with Uber eats, because they canceled my order after one hour, alleging that they do not have delivery person ‍️

We had a large party upstairs and had made reservations a week earlier. Unfortunately only one server, which was odd. Also, it took quite awhile for the food to be served. Maybe not enough staff in the kitchen? Overall the food is always excellent!

Not only is Maroosh's food by far the best Middle Eastern food in Miami, they care A LOT about their service also. When DoorDash lost my order, they rushed me my food again (plus a bonus dessert) AND refunded my money. Now THAT'S excellent customer service!

It was fun and delicious, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I ordered the tabouli and it didn't arrive and I was expecting to see more vegan/vegetarian options.

The service is excellent, everyone is attentive and the food exquisite.
I tried the appetizer combo and a side of kibbeh, everything was fresh and delicious.

Beautiful decorations. We wanted to get some halal food. Waited for 40 minutes without even getting served water. My son and I ordered sandwiches which shouldn't take that long. After waiting 40 min two older Caucasian gents walked in. The waitress rushed out w bread and hummus for them.
We were in town for the Orange bowl and didn't expect such shoddy behavior.

Unfortunately this restaurant is not what used to be before after the original owner pass away the restaurant change for worse with the new ownership, on top of that employees are unhappy because they are never gets paid on time because they don't know how to manage a restaurant and never meet the end of the month even with the suppliers...
