Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, Fort Myers FL

This place is crazy. Paying 900$ for 2 nights and my wife paid 20$ a night per person and they still are charging for breakfast. What in the world concept is this. Price gouging customers. If there was a separate breakfast for us then there should have been a person to guide us. If I want to I could block the charges but I will not. I will just continue to post here and all over social media about this hotel. I am from Florida and have multiple businesses here and will not be sending anyone to this hotel. Sanibel Island is worth visiting but I would stay somewhere else where what is advertised is given to you. Not only that when my wife went to talk to the front desk the lady was horribly rude. I hope Marriotts corporate sees this and fixes this issue.

I like to spend the night in a comfortable room, but I don't like the loud drilling noises from next door on floor 9. It bothers me and I don't want to get annoyed and kept insisting to move to a different floor and now I'm feeling sad about it.

Wonderful experience with my daughter and I! Staff was very accommodating and everything was very clean.

Staff is friendly and a helpful, food is delicious, service is excellent and facilities are clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our mini vacation.

For the price, quality is expected. Shower head dirty and shockingly low pressure. Thermostat buttons old and non-responsive. Hotel was just meh.

The room in reserved wasn't available and no one told me until I got in the room and complained. They gave me 75 off per night but my experience was tainted. The phone in the room didn't work. The shower had zero pressure and was luke warm at best. The maintenance crew came but wouldn't fix it. Oh and the steakhouse we kept hearing about wasn't open. And the TV kept muting every ten minutes while watching.

Great spa. Loved the sauna, steam room, hot tub and probably best massage in a lonnggg time by the super talented April!

Amazing location! Great facilities. Clean location with awesome amenities. Great place for our convention, but also a place I'd bring my family. So peaceful in Sanibel.

The only thing that worked in the hotel was the front desk, everything else was a disaster and a lie, under each service or fee another hidden fee. Unprofessional staff. I do not recommend anyone to go through that so-called "hotel".

Assistant Front Office Manage Casey Howell was rude and tried to intimidate me because his the dropped the ball on a service issue.

This hotel is definitely outdated but my reason for the rating is because we came while they were remodeling and we werent aware of this beforehand, not to mention the construction is being done on EVERY floor. If I managed here I would do it floor by floor so that its not affecting everyone in the hotel. Dont get me wrong this place definitely needs the upgrade but they should sent out emails to let there customers know. It was hard sleeping at night because the dist and debris issues to be coming from the vents and o you can feel it on the back of your throat. Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and they even allowed us to leave one day earlier with a full refund so I have no complaints there just wish I wouldve known about the construction beforehand. Will still love to return when the remodeling is complete.

My wife and I had a great experience at this hotel. We planned on staying only a few nights and we decided to extend our stay longer due to the treatment of the staff especially Casey Howell (Assistant Office Manager). He went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant and we completely enjoyed it. I want to that Casey and all the staff for making our stay one we will not forget. We hope to return soon.

I had an exceptional experience with the wedding coordinators and sales staff and highly recommend this venue to future brides!

This place allows very LOUD music to the point that closed windows don't help at all. Good luck if you have kids that need to go to bed.

The staff here are the absolute worst. Our flight was delayed so I called at our our connecting airport to tell them we were going to be arriving after midnight and to hold our room, which they assured me they would. When we finally arrived, exhausted, at 2 AM, it was to find they had given away our room. The front desk girl snottily informed us we had to drive 20 minutes to a cheesy subpar motel and stay there instead. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. It was a miserable motel, a terrible experience, and I will never stay at any Sonesta property. There are nicer hotels where staff know how to treat guests.

Beautiful setting. Conference rooms were comfortable. Food was all vegetarian for my retreat and if I could eat like that every day I would become a vegetarian.

Feels dated. Old. Old AC. Popcorn ceilings. Dated furniture. Dated old door handles. Same for electrical outlets, light fixtures etc.

Had to switch rooms due to broken ac in first room.

No vending machine, snacks, soda available late night unless you want to take the shuttle bus to the other tower. Very odd to me, as a business traveler I’m quite accustomed to hotels all having snacks and drinks available near the front desk 24 x 7.

Not the worst I’ve ever stayed at. But could certainly use improvements. Doesn’t feel like a “resort hotel”.

We stayed here 2 nights for my birthday. It was beautiful and all the staff was very friendly. Will for sure be staying here again.
