In order to inform the authorities and local/regional community, we wanted to share our awful experience with this so-called developer named Marsan Real Estate Group:
In 2020, we bought a property to be built in a new development located in a Davenport, Holly Village Drive, expecting to have the 3-bedroom townhouse ready to occupy within 12 months, as formally informed by the above indicated developer.
Three years later, not only the house has not been delivered but not valid explanation, information or the least justification has been provided, in spite of many direct and indirect attempts to have a decent exchange on the subject. To make it worse the property was put on sale last November.
This situation has led us to believe we are actually dealing with a dishonest organization that organized a scam with this development, as we could judge from other similar experiences expressed in here.
We hope this can serve as a warning to any ingenious and honest potential buyer to avoid entering in any transaction or negotiation related to any estate property or land managed by this crooked organization.

Jean and Lin are crooks. Anyone who responds with the Marsan name are just agents of those crooks. Jean and Lin have a storied history of hiring people accusing them of all kinds of made up chicanery to cover up their own bad acts. All you have to do is search court records to know the truth about Marsan and anything tied to him. ***WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR JEAN'S RICO CHARGE IN FEDERAL COURT****? !? !? !?

Good afternoon, I bought a townhouse and I've been waiting for two years and they still haven't delivered, I've tried to contact the office and they don't answer, I've gone to the site and it's closed, I would like the company to answer me.
I talked to Mr. Alfredo and he told me that the construction was stopped that I should talk to the owners or send him an email, but there is no response of any kind
I went through the construction and what they advanced was the electricity and the a/a; missing walls, floor.

This response is sent to correct very serious misstatements made by Mr. Tavarez in a review. We believe those misstatements were made through ignorance of the true facts and/or because he was consumed by unfounded anger and hostility.

These are the true facts:
• Westside Lake Development, LLC is the developer of this Subdivision known as Westside Lakes. The Builder of homes in this Subdivision is Better Built Homes. Better Built has been building homes for over 20 years.
• Mr. Taverez was engaged by Better Built Homes Residential Group. His Scope of Services was the following: On Site Sales Agent.
• Marsan Real Estate Group is not the Developer of this Subdivision.
• Without getting into his confidential information, Mr. Tavarez served as a sales agent to sell homes based on a commission program.
• Mr. Tavarez handled Purchase and Sales Contracts with interested buyers from approximately November 30,2020, to approximately July 12,2022.
• His commission compensation was paid from Closings. Closings are not always predictable and can be delayed by many factors beyond our control. This means there can be fluctuations in our receipt of funds from Closings, leading to varying time periods for payments of Commissions from Closings. Pedro was paid a draw weekly via direct deposit and commissions were paid the following month.
• We do not use “dirty” trailers to show prospective buyers our products. We do strive to keep our overhead down, which allows us to sell homes at better prices. We are proud of our pricing points.
• We strive to promptly release deposits when called for. Our financial controls require approval of a Company Officer to do so. Lin Jesse who works as our sales agent is not a Company Officer and is not authorized to conduct financial transactions, like releasing deposits.
• Yes, from time to time, most Developers will experience a disagreement with a trade contractor. Our goal is to resolve things as soon as possible, but the dispute process can be lengthy and beyond our control.

We regret that Mr. Tavarez is upset and angry. We tried to resolve things with him. We will do so again if he speaks with us, by appointment, and maintains a calm and businesslike attitude.

In December of 2020, I made a huge mistake for not taking the time and check the reviews of Better Built Homes/Marsan Real Estate/ Westside Lake. All different names but the same Seudo company.

I accepted a job offer made for Lin Joy Jesse and Jean Marsan, even though, I exceeded all the expectations of the Sales Position, in 19 months of employement I was pay on time only two times.

I had to work in filthy model homes/trailers because they dont want to pay for cleaning services, constantly without internet service due to not payments. I was harrassed all the time for trades and subs literally crying for not getting paid and most of the buyers are waiting for completion of their homes.

The actitud of Lin Jesse and Jean Marsan is just to hide and not respond anyone, not updates and they keep everyone deposits. Once a group of buyers went to the Corporate office (tiny office by Millenia mall with two employees), and they felt offended, immediately started accusing me of orquestrating a plot. Apparently after almost two years of waiting with no answer buyers dont deserve at least an explanation.

Besides the total bad management and not organization, the builder is under a Law Suit and there is a Lien on the properties with not idea weather will ever be resolved or not.

I finally got fed up when Lin refused to give the money back to customers and I quit. Lin told me that Jean Marsan will reach out about my last checks, which of course never happen and I never expected to happened, even though, I took several days updating all the files and getting all the information up to date as I talked to all the agents about the new person to be contacted.

The only reason why I was able to stay around that time is because my main source of income was not this job, but if you are looking for a job Do Not work for these people, they are crooks and liars.
