Marsh Landing Adventures / Orlando Airboat Tours reviews
14Fascinating time. Very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife. Great break from lines at Disney and Universal. Well worth the time and money.
Captian Logan is so cool, we had a great time on the boat and he was very knowledgeable about the nature and history of the area. My group was large and split between two boats, and overall we are so happy about our experience and can't wait to come back. I'm not sure who our other captain was, but I know he was awesome too! The ladies who checked us in were so nice and accommodating, and fun to chat with while my group straggled in.
Such a cool experience!
This tour was better than I expected! The marsh is absolutely dream like. On our trip we saw two 7+ foot gators and a bunch of birds. Our captain was Captain Scott and he was funny and very knowledgeable. I totally recommend going on this tour if you have the chance.
Fab airboat ride with Captain Chris…. We took the hour trip and he took us to see a lot of interesting things in the swamp/lake. We came across an alligator with her babies and also managed to see a very rare and endangered snail eating hawk, also lots of white egrits…great trip, would highly recommend.
Place was closed. They need to update their website, so ppl don't drive allll the way there to find out they are closed.
After our first tour was canceled due to storms, they simply took us a few days later in the morning without any complications. We were with Captain Roy and this man really has it! I have never learned so much about a habitat as from this guide. He knows a lot about it and even explained to us how to survive there for days, if you are not attacked by a man-eater! We were able to see aligators nests and their female aligators from very close and he always made sure that we did not disturb the animals. You could tell that the animals were very important to him. It was also very interesting to learn what real tensions between man and predator exist here and in what form all involved try to maintain this nature reserve, despite all the dangers. Many thanks also from my girlfriend, it was a great experience and we will be very happy to come back. Alone for this the journey from Germany was worth it ;-)
I actually stopped at the dog park. It was very nice. Had a water fountain, benches and picnic tables. First time there.
Captain Chris was fantastic. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the things he took us to see, including nesting mama alligators, their nests, eggs, and their babies. We went on a 1-hour tour, and it was very enjoyable! We would definitely go again and would recommend Captain Chris as a guide! (I also recommend sunglasses, sunscreen, and maybe a hat, none of which I had - sunburn picture attached.)
Don't miss this! Be transported across the Marshes and Lake by an Air Boat. The ride is an experience in itself, but to see the local wildlife is an absolute bonus! Out Pilot obviously knew the Marshes, like the back of his hand. His knowledge of the area, guaranteed a good number of Gator sightings! Well worth the money, especially when you're sick of the queues in the OrlandoTheme Parks? !
Our captain was late by an hour, which we wasn’t bothered about to be fair as the kids went on the park and we sat in the shade. Plus the lady said she would discount us on the price so that was a bonus! When we got told that we thought it would be $20-30 but they refunded us the full amount! Which was amazing of them, we never expected that at all and we still got to go on the air boat trip, the captain was very apologetic and did a great trip and was very knowledgeable of the area. We got to see some gators very close up and some baby’s that were a few days old. All in all a great trip! Would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting to see some gators in the wild. Thanks again for a great time.
Thank to Captain Scott for an awesome afternoon. 3 out of our 4 person group had never been on an airboat and we all had an amazing time. Thanks for sharing you knowledge and makings sure we all had a good time. Highly recommended!
This was an amazing experience. Captain Roy was so knowledgeable and gave us the best tour! Would recommend this to anyone! Make sure you put on sunscreen, your boat might not be covered and you're exposed to all the sunshine! So much fun!
The store was everything I could ever want Captain Scott was amazing he was so knowledgeable he had drinks for us non-alcoholic and whatever you need Captain Scott explain the nest he explained the process I mean he even upgraded my seat to the top row which was great it was me and my family and two other guys Captain Scott treated us all like VIP guests I highly recommend this tour I would definitely ask for Captain Scott he knew where all the Gators were even showed us what the boat could do I never felt unsafe even though we were right on top of the Gators he made everything seem so smooth Captain Scott's amazing I highly recommend this tour summer winter spring and fall go Captain Scott book him getting off the boat we were so excited I saw other people getting off they weren't as excited as us not just saying all the captions aren't great but Captain Scott really made it memorable and perfect on the last day of our trip so thank you so much Captain Scott the next time and I'm in Florida I will see you again
