Marshalls, Sarasota FL

So disorganized and filthy dirty. Couldn’t believe the disgusting the changing room. I walked in turn right around and left. Just despicable.

I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN
I went in here today just to go shopping which is rare for me given the economy. I had tried to purchase a mirror tray and didnt realize it was broken. The cashier told me she couldn't sell it to me, not even at a discount. I have never had a cashier take an item away over a crack and refuse to sell it to me. She then had the audacity to try and get me to sign up for their credit card. Why would I sign up for their credit card only to be told I can't buy their products? No thank you. First and LAST time I will ever shop at Marshalls again. They also spoke poorly of me as I walked away. They also did not seem to be in a hurry to help me or anyone else in the extremely long line. They all took their time.

I went in tonight for a return. I stood at the end of the counter because quite frankly, I don't know what to do with a return at Marshalls. Two employees are talking. One register is open and one employee is hanging items on a hanger. She finally acknowledged me and told me that I had to get into the checkout line for return and then I said that they only had one register open and she did her hands for me to get in the checkout line. Then as I am walking away she makes a comment about me to the cashier. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Good place, unfortunately I returned the two item I purchased hased as tge neck massager and car phone charger where both too cheaply made. Very friendly staff, would go back to buy clothing

Great selection of a little bit of everything here, plus their store credit card works at HomeGoods, TJMaxx, and HomeSense! Really clean, friendly staff, and ALWAYS helpful as can be:)

Good variety of stock. I was looking for tea. Not much 2 choose from. Ckout was quick. Plenty of reg. Open.

Its a treasure hunt. Sometimes you win a good bargain depends on what you're looking for.

I shop this store AT LEAST a couple of times a week! I’m treated like family every time I'm there. A lot of the ladies there know me by name! The manager and staff are beyond kind and welcoming. I look forward to my Marshall’s trips and exploring the new goodies! I really like the fact that its apparent that they enjoy working there. Kudos to this staff!

With the time and patience it's possible to find what you need if lucky at a good price.

Marshall's is a fun place to shop, always something new to look at. I've had great luck finding interesting/fun gifts for the husband too! They have a nice selection of bath & beauty items as well. Very good prices on clothes, well organized, I shop here quite often:)

Location was very neat and well stocked with many items to choose from. Love this store and happy with my purchases.

Wow, amazing came thru in a pinch with a suitcase that is unbelievably lite weight, weighs 4 5 pounds, at 59.00
And yes it's a full suitcase! I turned my weighty un- wheelding one into homeless shelter. 15 years old, but in perfect shape, for hopefully someone who might need it! ! Thx you!

The store was neat, but there was absolutely no guest engagement from the workers there. It was totally transactional and the cashier did thank me for coming. I guess that is something.

I usually LOVE Marshalls but on this visit, we witnessed an interaction between management and staff that was inappropriate. My daughter and I were at the check out when the manager on duty proceeded to berate a staff member. This staff who seemed to be new was just coming onto her shift and had not checked in the proper way. The manager's demeanor toward the staff member was best described as belittling and she wasn't quiet about it. We heard every word of it and she hardly allowed the woman to explain what protocol she followed upon arrival for her shift. Instead of giving her the chance to elaborate, the manager curtly cut her off and proceeded to correct her where upon she began to ask her personal health questions. While we understand the need to follow their shift intake protocol and ensure the health safety of employees and the public, behind the counter where customers are checking out is highly inappropriate. I find it hard to believe that they don't have a back room where they can conduct the health interview privately. The employee didn't deserve to be treated with such disregard for her dignity. Maybe that manager should take sensitivity training.

Purchased Shiseido Creamy Cleansing Emulsion 200ml is on clearance for $44 from $60. The regular price on Shiseido website is $35. Showed this to manager of TJ Maxx she told me that is our price. I returned it and they placed it back on shelf still overcharging for the item.

The manager Lewis is nice and friendly. We appreciated his great customer service. Also a few of the greeters were super nice and welcoming. I love this Marshall's.
