They have raised the rates substantially. Way better places for the money. Many sites are terrible. Site#3 which you pay extra for due to 50 amps is a sand pit.

What a great place. And father lived at this place during the 70s. My dad actually helped build part of the seawall and some of the cabins. I have heard stories about winky and the crew. I decided to go fishing there. The first time the fish weren’t biting, but we still had a great time because the people around us that were also fishing are so friendly as well as the staff in the store. This weekend my wife and I decided to stay there for our anniversary. Again the people were very friendly. A guy named Danny who is a regular there actually showed me the correct way to catch mullet. Apparently I had it all wrong. Ha ha ha. I’m looking to book a room this winter to take my mom and dad back there as they are older, and this might be their last chance.if you’re looking for a place with kind people and fun, this is the place for you.

Nice big rv site.really like watching the people fishing. Seemed like everyone new each other from year past. Some really great sunsets.

Had a great time. Bob, the entertainment, was great. Not too loud. We danced, had an all around great time. Back in the woods, felt like being at camp, adult camp

A day that will be remembered. We discovered Mary's Fish Camp by chance. It was so beautiful that we didn't want to leave. We immediately felt like friends and learned a lot thanks to the help of many professional anglers there. This day was definitely unforgettable. Thanks:)

We have spent the winter at Mary's for the last four years and it was one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff was great and we made many good friends there. Unfortunately, the owners decided to almost double the rates and not honor reservations for next year that they booked and took deposits for. There are plenty of better RV parks with much better facilities and reasonable rates! Maybe with all the money that they will be making now they can fix the road, the RV site utilities, the boat ramp and other things.

This is truly a slice of heaven on earth, We went for 2 weeks and ended staying 5 months! We just couldn't get enough of it there, and the staff is second to none. Nikki is an absolute gem and really shows the customer the true love she has for Marys and her staff. Its amazing because recently Marys was hit hard by IDALIA HURRICANE, BUT Mother nature can throw whatever she has at MFC but Nikki and her staff have so much Love for that place that it will be back up and running better then ever to keep the tradition going forward with the old school Florida atmosphere that cannot be matched anywhere. We love you MFC. Thank you again to the best staff anywhere Nikki, Christie, Jodi, Nick, Dave, April, Chip, Sandy, Mary, Tyler, and Sue.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Very very Ghetto. If I could give this place zero stars I would. When we first walked in the employees were so rude specially the older woman. When I asked where the bathroom was, the old lady look at me and didn’t say anything so I asked the younger girl and she told me. At the time of purchase for the kayaks they only told us the kayaks needed to be back by 5: 30, they did not direct us to where our kayaks would be or what they would look like so we assumed the clear kayaks were for us to the right.so we got in them and took off, this guy while we were maybe 10min into our kayak ride told us that the kayaks we took were his and we had no clue and said the office did not direct us, he almost called the police on us from Marys fish kayaks disorganization and neglect. So when we got back to the dock, we sat at the table and ate our lunch and by that time it was maybe 2pm.so after we ate our lunch, we walked to where a local directed us for the kayaks.so when we got to the kayaks, the older lady was down there and immediately asked us what we were doing and if we paid for the kayaks even though she’s one of the women who checked us out for the kayaks we rented, we said getting our kayaks you never directed us to.she said that was an hour ago where were you with an attitude, we said we sat and ate lunch and either way we had until 5: 30 regardless and she treated us like we were stealing the kayaks we paid for! We said it's not our fault you didnt direct us to these kayaks.so then she rolled her eyes and gave us
more attitude about taking the kayaks we paid for to have until 5: 30, and by that time it was maybe 3pm. I said do you want to see our receipts? And she sighed and said "well just make sure they're back by 5: 30" as if we had no entitlement to the kayaks we rented until 5: 30 which we didnt receive from
the jump because of their poor lack of communication and disorganization.maybe she acted that way because I'm black but she treated us like dirt and we returned the kayaks by 5: 15 and that old lady should be fired for how she treated us.nobody should ever go there. GHETTO to say the least. Don’t be in customer service if you’re not going to be respectful, organized, and punctual.

EDITED: AND I GOT A STAPH INFECTION FROM THEIR KAYAKS!

Nothing like planning a weekend getaway with your family for 5 months and getting there to have to leave the very first night because there’s BED BUGS in the beds. They did NOTHING to even try to fix it. Upon searching the internet for reviews (which appear to have quite a few hidden somehow), We found someone else two months ago in the same cabin we were in with this experience.
We were told “I’ll tell the manager but there’s really nothing we can do” and “they are new beds though” as if that gets rid of bed bugs. They hide in the walls and even hide in electronics. They did not do anything at all to try to make it right and seemed quite unfazed by this. We stayed in Cabin 5.

I was not very impressed with a few things before finding this out, like the doors looked like they had never been wiped down, and the couch in the room was so old the frame would dig into your back when you sat on it. The fridge in our cabin had the door left open and it was very warm, and we had meat that had to be stored and had to wait hours for that to cool down. Also deer flies were biting everyone like crazy and all the kids were crying afraid of them.

This was very disappointing and we will not be doing business here again, as clearly they don’t care to treat MAJOR things like bed bugs properly and also refuse to do anything to make the situation right.

EDITIED TO ADD IN RESPONSE TO MARYS FISH CAMP: It’s VERY clear these are NOT water bugs, and I encourage everyone to look up pictures of water bugs and bed bugs and compare, and see that they are nothing alike. These are bed bugs we found in the bed. Also, water bugs do not crawl in peoples beds. It’s unfortunate they can’t own up to the truth and just fix the problem and have to lie and hide it. I recommend taking your business elsewhere, as they don’t care to make things right and can’t be honest about such important things like this.

I loved my many day fishing adventures last winter here. I got along with all the seasonal campers and other visitors. Meeting famous legendary Mullet Man Chip! I was honored to have him train me to become a world class mullet fisherman with a cane pole! I even got on the biggest mullet of the month board until someone beat me lol. I was hesitant on coming back due to one employee that treated me very very unprofessionaly, this individual spread very disturbing rumors that cased many problems. Constantly this individual would cause chaos throughout the entire fish camp. This individual would Constantly harass new and existing customers to levels I've never seen. Constantly complaining about her employment and pay aswell. When I recently called about possibly coming back I heard this individual no longer works here, this made my choice very easy to come back. I love Marry's and the staff and I even got to meet one of the wonderful people keeping Marry's going Mr. Blair, wonderful business driven man.

Had an awesome time. Plenty of water activities to do with the family. Clean cabin & camp ground nice friendly staff.looking forward to coming back.

Disrespect, lack of regard for cabin guests. Woke up to BEDBUGS 1am this morning cabin 5. After extensive search online. Seems this ongoing concern in cabin 5 and 6. Packed up and left middle of night. Drove up this morning to hand in keys.
Went exactly as I suspected. No apology. No acknowledgement they even had heard about the problem. Sandy, and what seemed like 5 other employees were in office. All wearing Mary's Fish camp apparel. Not one of them looked at me, rather they hung their heads. She said she would tell Manager. Possibly many need to chance mattress. I'm sure they will have another customer staying soon without taking measure to eradicate the BEDBUGS.
Needless to say, I imagined a great weekend. Now we are re-doing laundry. To ensure their problem, doesn't become a problem in our home.
Great down play. These bite. I video there where 20 I counted. All varying sizes. Some newly hatch. None near water.

This place is such a gem! The cabin we stayed in was great and staff was really helpful. The kids loved fishing off the dock and making new friends. A short paddle to the Weeki Wachee was a great experience. Wonderful place!
